Ok just do some simple math, 88 squads require 9 88s with 2 87s or if you put 89 it would need 7 88s only, and imo the method that saves fodders is putting 2 fodders who are higher rated than the required rating and then put 3 of the required rating and the rest are the rating -1, hope that helps
