I haven't used TOTY Makelele, but I use Lahm and I can say he's magic, the explosive accelerate allows him to cover spaces and reach opponents so easy in short/medium distances, and idk why but feels very strong, give him a chance

you're right, I can't understand how the community is still debating about the "best gk", it's simple, if the game wants it they will be good or bad, it doesn't matter if it's Yashin or Areola

I play him at right cm in 4-3-1-2, is my playmaker and ocasionally scored some goals with him, I think his pace and shooting aren't enough for a cam, also he needs a solid midfield (I play Kroos as my left cm and Essien prime at cdm), so depends of your playstyle, maybe in a tiki-taka 4-2-3-1 will be good ;)

honest review after 20 games, he is not for all players, is very difficult to use but if u learn how yo use him is a beast. He's a playmaker, so his pace isn't a problem. Don't try him as b2b. His passing is beautiful, pace is usuable, his dribbling is so **** smooth, more than Messi, his deffending is decent and stamina is acceptable, his finesse shoots inside the box are very good, he also has that special intelligence, always on the right place. So no, he isn't a F, but you have to learn how to use him, maybe not meta, but is very fun to play with, my favourite CM this year
