I'm not one to criticize EA for everything they do, but it has to be said that every time they try to nerf something which deserves nerfing (this time, pressing and violent play, which is what's been making the game worse and worse year after year), they manage to make things worse.

I'm not sure there's a formula behind it, for special cards anyway. They take into account international reputation too. Basically, the overall rating has become pointless in recent years. This is an end-game CAM card, and it will probably get upgraded once more.

Old chemistry made little sense, chemistry is far from being a problem. The problem is gameplay, most fouls don't get punished, you're forced to high-press all game and it's all based on violence and tricks.

There's no sign of realism in this game, starting with the gameplay. It's like football on helium. I find people "boycotting" women the most ridiculous players in an already ridiculous community (me included). At least women cards are fun.
