Yes I had the same problem but last week I saw a video of the german Youtuber BugBene (Inventor of the Bene Cross). You have to switch the intensity/sensitivity to 2/10 for the player switch, it instantly worked for me and gave me the good ol' fast playstyle back I missed since FIFA23, hope it helps brother.
