Been holding out my evos from season pass for a little while now but really tempted to put tika+ on him and carry on running him as a playmaker... he already does a really good job, just that little polish to passing would help.

Yeah feel you on that. Don't mind going without slide tackle or some **** but no intercept at this stage is a pretty big deal, though he does have mad animations so maybe it'll compensate. Dunno, think agree with you tbh.

Anyone else not able to use him in the TOTS upgrade? Not applied any other evos, no cosmetics, and he just doesn't appear in my list... whole bunch of other 92, 93 rated players but not him. Don't understand lol

Got him in icon pick last night - was pretty hyped... legit don't think he's made a save in 8 games so far, ball just seems to fly through the guy ffs!

Nah gave him 4 champs games and sadly he felt mid AF... Usual FIFA BS, you know who's going to be good and who isn't by name majority of the time and he just ain't got it.

Used him in draft earlier and was unreal, check the price and see he's 68k... Expected 300+ tbh. Might pick him up

Totally just a playstyle thing but that lack of tika-taka really shows when I compare what he does for me in game to Abily... sorry state of affairs we've got to this but she just feels better in game tbh. Still a top card but yeah, just not quite ticking right now.

Tried him, thought he'd be on a par with Upa. He just isn't, anticipate or not.

Mate I've literally been smashing every upgrade trying to pack him for the Basque RTG... got inigo but this mofo just won't hit. Struggle is real haha

He's been unreal mate - whacking the first touch + on him on top of the dribbling and shooting boost just added another level to the card, controls things instantly now, transitions into dribbling in a flash, it's mental how much better he is. Was already good but now feels pretty elite tbh

Might continue the Evo run on him and add first touch + now too... Done the dribbling and shooting evos, unsure on passing as whipped is pretty dead on a striker but FT might be lit

FR. Barely see the point worrying about rewards nowadays, literally anything even half decent comes from upgrades and menu grinding anyway!

Not used him yet but just know from experiences with Forlan and certain playstyles/stats combos etc that this card is going to absolutely bag. Will pick him up for the weekend for sure.

Did the Zambo Evo to replace Billy... didn't even last a day. Just can't replace this guy, no matter who I try.

His base had this problem for me, felt weak as wet toilet paper a lot of time as well. He at least feel a little stronger with this version?

If I could get this card to have LM winger ++ would evo it in a heartbeat, he's really good.... just doesn't fit my tactics right now. Hoping for one like all the DLP ++ we've had, play the waiting and hope game.

Ended up putting him back in for Kane midway through Champs... Guy is just a bagsman.

He's been really, really good of late. Don't know what's changed but where other keepers have fallen off a cliff gone back to VDS who'd been collecting dust for a month - been head and shoulders the best keeper I've used since patch. Was pretty stinky before... don't understand haha

Just packed him rage opening store packs with coins, spent 950k in total, a dupe Scholes was the face card. I'll take it.

Yeah I'm in two minds as well tbh... obviously this card is better, but no matter what you do he stays 'controlled' - so used to him being mostly lengthy and abusing the heck out of that wonder if it'll effect the card or not, probably won't feel as arse achingly fast as he does now or something. Tough one. The 85 still does bits for me.

I have him, Raphina and an untrad Rodrygo inform... literally don't know which way to go haha. Rodrygo is crazy good in game but this card looks unreal and fixes some issues it had before. Can imagine it would bang. Just dunno man.

There have been stats thresholds that unlock animations for years, it isn't a new thing.

Feels strange still using this card in January but he still bosses a lot of games - threw him back in as a gap filler but has so much jam and creativity as a F9 kept him in, gave him a couple the evos available and he isn't leaving anytime soon.

Div 2 season in review reward... torn between using him at RW instead of Saka or striker.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat mate... Can't put my finger on it; he makes some great last ditch/recovery tackles but barring that he just seems to have absolutely no presence at the back. You can feel the work the Kompany types are doing, the size and strength they bring etc. Maldini just doesn't do that, feels really ineffective. Had him since icon comp and genuinely prefer using Inigo Martinez lol

State of this game where this card is literally better than Maldini for me. Wish it was a joke... but it just ain't. Carragher outperforms him regularly ffs

He's alright but think it's the rarity making peeps assume this card is better than it actually is in game. Doesn't feel like the stats suggest to me, actually prefer the pinged pass on Barella to incisive as well. Will submit him, no regrets. Tons of cards that do the same job currently available.

Yeah can't fault his tackling at all, wins some things other defenders probably wouldn't... just lacking the physicality to deal with gameplay as it is nowadays. Still, we plough on... it's maldini after all.

He makes some absolutely crazy tackles at times but I dunno, maybe it's just a size thing but tempted to try him at LB instead... think you're just better off with big, bulky VVD types this year. Still a good card (got him from icon comp pack) but not been completely blown away like thought I would.

Want this card man but just can't bring myself to sink 1m in to a 4* wf striker... know he's going to be great but still, I'm crap with lefties. Dunno, should I?

Haven't played him once in champs either.

Gave this card a full champs run... completely bang average tbh, didn't excel at anything, turns poorly, not great defensively, physically or anything else... crack the odd long shot but yeah, just doesn't offer anything special imo.

Have both him and Bastoni. Hand on heart think this card performs better in game - maybe it's the aggression coupled with aerial making him stand out, is just an absolute animal in the tackle and always bailing me out of situations. Hope he gets some sort of defender + role

I use him LST in a 424 -Still can't replace him, he's just so good in game. I have 'better' or 'more expensive' strikers at club but it doesn't matter, every time take him out he's back in within 5 games.

Really like this card. Threw him in after Bremer got sent off and not really looked back, been in all week and staying there. Feels really strong in challenges, decent playstyles, pace, body type, it's all just really decent tbh.

Saddens me as been using him weeks, figured would end up building around him, but taken him out for Barella following a system change - and Barella is just better. Price for what you get here is mental, just can't see the value, and that's from someone who owns him.

Yeah expected a lot cheaper tbh, genuinely thought she'd be around the 80k mark or something given the height - but maybe that's an expectation influenced solely by the 24 experience with the aerial meta etc. obviously something to the card to maintain that price, regardless of height, so shall give her a whirl. Those links for the likes of Diani etc certainly have benefits too.

Mate I couldn't agree more. Got him in the hero upgrade expecting a worldie and been shoe-horning him in to my teams since but honestly he just doesn't have an impact, not defensively or offensively. Throw someone like Calhonoglu in and at least he's got incisive to work with, creates all sorts of - Marchisio is just kinda there not doing a lot. Might be time to drop him tbh.

Have both untrad and genuinely believe Udogie is a touch better than Mendy
