I am the same and I did the upgrade - had so much storage fodder and the playmaker ++ is a bonus for me. If you can I would recommend doing so, annoying that the untradeable lower rated Ze Roberto kind of becomes fodder but I guess there is always an option in the future to use the other version if you need a Box to Box CM because the new one does not have that play style
