Personally I think both are great but if I'd have to choose one I'd go with the Portuguese guy as he has much better passing and I use my strikers in the build up play a lot. Finesse shots are still great though so if you rely on them then Kenny is your guy.

Price is a small L without any WF upgrade but it's still a really nice card. All important stats except dribbling (which is already high enough) got a +2/3 compared to his gold card. We also got a new playstyle which feels really nice ingame. I can agree on that the price could be more fair around 4-450k but this complain and hate from the community is a joke. Most of us are willing to take 250k+ worth of fodder in icon gamble SBC 6 times to get back players like Ian Rush, Gattuso or Trezeguet while this card is better than 90% of all icons for 2x the price of that **** icon SBC.

He’s not bad but for me not better than Militao or Varane, they are even slightly better imo. Blanc and VVD are at least 1 tier above this card at least for me (new gen).

The biggest problem is his acceleration and body type. Varane and VVD are able to tackle in a much bigger range (thanks to their animations and body type) and Militao has the pace to catch people if you f*ck up. With this guy if you make a mistake there is almost no chance to recover.

As a Hungarian it was a must for me. First owner TOTW Szobo only waited for this in my club. God, I enjoy playing this game again.

Packed him, benched my Eusebio after 700 games and Karim the Dream made the game fun again. I loved his gold card early in the game cycle and I can safely say that he is the perfect no 9. for me in this game. Card feels like a mix of CR7, Lewandowski, Zlatan and Karim himself from real life. Finishing, headers, vollies, finesse shots, playmaking - he can do it all.

Auba's card is great, I've used him this WL until I packed this beast from rewards. Acceleration and dribbling are the 2 main key differences between the cards. Pedro feels much much better on the ball and his initial speed is just insane. Auba's left stick dribbling is not that responsive and it feels like that you are in the mud when you start sprinting with him. R9, Mbappe or Eusebio also don't have much playstyles still they are arguably the best attackers in the game and this is the first "cheap" card that comes close to them (at least this is how I feel it ingame).

My favourite CM this year. Hope that we can evo him one day.

One of the best players in the game right now. Feels so smooth and fast on the ball, passing is god tier, shooting is very good. For this price you won't get a better player for sure.

Linking can be tough though. If you have the coins I can recommend Ricardo Carvalho, Crespo (and Messi will also fit in with argentinian + MLS league manager) they are really good players in their positions and relatively cheap.

I cannot replace him on the left and finally packed this beast untradeable. Now I hope dupe theory is real and I can pick one of his special cards up during the promo. :)

She's doing a great job as a LAM/CAM/ST in different formations for me. Movement, long range finesse shots, passing, finishing... Everything clicks. Only downside can be pace for certain playstyles but I'm perfectly fine with her speed. Top tier card for such a low price.

Many evolutions in the past was a disappointment for me but I've decided to take the 100k risk with this card. There's something with him in the game, he's unbelievable as an ST in 2 striker formations. His positioning and movement is so good, the ball literally sticks to him and he bangs in shots like rockets from everywhere. His R1 dibbling is that good that I thought he has technical playstyle. I don't like to hype cards but I honestly think that he can and will outshine million coins players. I'm even a bit sad about it as he outscores my 2.5 mil 92 Eusebio card (great duo though!)...

I cannot find a better striker under 1 million coins (excluding his IF ofc)

Tevez for 50k. I don’t understand why this card is so overlooked. He feels really good ingame and links to Messi/Di Maria/Kvaradona/Theo etc.

This card just gets too much hate. Yes, it’s a pricey SBC and we’re getting closer to TOTS. However this guy as a CDM or stay back CM is sick, he’s on Vieira / TOTY Rodri level. Perfect (and rare) work rates, great playstyles, insane stats, good links and he can even play CB. He won’t dribble like Xavi in his prime but idk why would anyone expect that from a player like Tchou.

I am using him since the evo came out so played a WL and a couple of rivals game already. Performs great for me as an LM/LCAM with engine. Height and balance is noticable ofc but I also play with 92 KDB so I've already get used to such players and tbf technical playstyle helps a lot here. Passing and set pieces are out of this world. Shooting is really great, power shot, trivelas, finesse it does not matter as long as you know when to use what. Is it the best card in the game? Absolutely not, but it's hella fun especially as a hungarian that I can play with the captain of our national team.

This card has the best possible playstyles for a winger imo and he feels f*cking good ingame. On the top of that he plays in the most popular league and brazilian. I can agree on that there are some exciting options in the new evo but calling this card "waste of fodder" is way too harsh.

I’d be surprised if he’d drop significantly. This is one of the best attacker card in the game and definitely the best affordable one. Gold card will be out of the packs so supply will drop while demand most probably won’t (unless they release some really crazy ****s for cheap but I don’t expect that).

I was lucky enough to pack him from WL rewards. First I didn't understand the price of a card with only 1 playstyle. All I can say is that now I can understand. I'm shocked how good he is, card is not overpriced but underpriced!

Generally speaking you'll always find players for close to fodder price who can perform on at least a 90% level of really expensive cards. In really tight matches that extra ~10% performance can be decisive but most of the time it doesn't really matter. I'm a div 3 and 11-14 WL win player and I don't think that I could reach better results even if I could somehow afford really the best players for each positions. Improving at the game and abusing **** mechanics would help though. :)

I needed him to fit in Messi and Di Maria on 3. Was a bit sceptical as I used Lewa in the past 1.5 weeks and I've felt like this will be a downgrade... But oh my god, he's really a beast. Despite the stat difference I feel like his shooting is better then Lewa's.

Insane card!

It’s shocking how good this guy is. I usually play really tight matches, 1 or 2 saves here and there can be crucial. Finally I can trust my keeper.

First I did not want to complete him because I already have TS FDJ and Cent KDB but recent objectives and SBCs gave so many fodders so I pulled the trigger. I did not want to get rid of FDJ or KDB so I decided to try him behind Eusebio as a CAM / second striker. God, he's insane I really don't understand the negative comments on the card. First 10 matches 10 golas and 7 assists in div3. And that feeling when you score or assist with your childhood hero is so satisfied... Have not tried him as a CM yet but he's very similar to KDB whom I love so I guess he will work there, too.

With Blanc he’s very good for me. The most dominant CB after VVD I’ve tried this year. If he gets 2-3 upgrades he’ll be better than Virgil imo. Way too cheap for what he offers on the pitch plus that link to Neymar…

Zanetti is a prime Kante with great passing.

I was lucky enough to pack him untradeable after the game launched. As a Barcelona and Messi fan I couldn't be happier, he will be my club legend for sure.

Feels really good in game, shooting, passing and dribbling are god tier but avoid overusing the R1 dribbling. Low attacking work rate is something you should get use to but with the right instructions it is manageable. I play him as a central CAM (4231) or CF (4411).

Linking can be tough, I've linked him with Crespo and Di Maria. If you have the coins you get 3 top players for ~300k, it's insane.

My best player so far this weekend as an LCAM in 4222. Deadly finesse shots, passing (pinged+ is huge), dribbling (lean body type is insane), decent speed, great defensive stats to track back - he has everything you'd want in that position. Probably he won't last long as TOTS is coming very soon but 70k of fodder is nothing for him, it's worth trying him out.

As a hungarian I wanted this card so bad, finally I could afford him last week. I’m a bit disappointed because my childhood hero is not that good in this game as he should be. His left foot is out of this world for sure but dribbling and animations are really weird sometimes (stocky body type I guess), his speed is underwhelming in a lot of situations and he missed a lot of chances with his right foot. Still a great card but my expectations were higher than what this card can offer for me at this price.

Sold Neymar (my favourite card this year) after finished my WL campaign and packed this guy untradeable. Rocking with him in div3 rivals, I enjoy playing it a lot. Fast, left stick dribbling is great and can beat anyone 1vs1. Finishing is also good with deadeye but don't try outside the box finesse with him. For me the only downside is the low long passing but for now I can live with that. Not sure if he's worth 100k coins though as Neymar is only 130k now but if you need him for links or pack him like me he's worth a try.

Tried him in a few rivals game already in div3. Better than stats would suggest, his body type is great. Gonna use him for a few weeks. But that's why I think he's at least a small L, I can't see him in my squad in mid december. The likes of Eto'o, Vieira, Ribery etc. will be good until TOTS but not this card sadly. Still it could be worse with a Keane pull for example...

Engine feels the best for me. I've also tried hawk but he's much better on the ball with engine while I didn't notice difference in his shooting.

After playing 600+ games with Schmeichel, having this guy is so relaxing. I'm not saying that he is a god but at least makes some saves.

Need him to link Llorente but I really miss Courtois...

My emotional inner me wants a Zizu card so bad as he was the first player I admired as a kid. But I have untradeable centurions KDB and I enjoy that card a lot so I guess I'll just pass this SBC for now.

Not bad. Switched from Theo to him because needed the brazilian link. Theo is better but this guy will do the job, I like him so far.

He performs really well as an RM for me. I cannot describe how good his passing is.

After 200 games I can say that this is my favourite card so far this year. He's my most consistent player in attack and stands out in my 11 mil squad.

I picked him up at 1.45 yesterday but I think he'll drop more for now. He's the only tradeable card in my team so I'll hold. He should bounce back after TOTY around 1.5 imo but I'm not sure with this year's market...

Used him for more than 50 rivals+champs game now as a CM/CDM. He’s really insane, bosses the midfield. I really don’t understand why is he dropping recently as on top of his very good ingame performance he’s the only top tier link to Messi and RTTK Di Maria.

It's not about just Messi. Attacking AI is so dumb while defensive AI turns every player into prime Maldini.

I've overlooked this card until I was lucky enough to pack him from the 87+ party bag SBC. Passing and shooting are out of this world. Best attacking CM I've used by far.

His positioning is insane, he’s always at the right place and tracks runs like no one else I’ve played this year. Animations are also crazy. Only downside of this card is the lack of jockey playstyle with his low agility and balance.

I know that the gambling SBCs generally suck but I always be like "hey, maybe I'll have some luck this time". I've spent a lot of resources on Hero and Icon SBCs, even bought some guaranteed Icon packs in the store for the first time since Fifa 21 and I literally got nothing useable. Don't be like me, keep your fodder for something else.

I'm still getting used to this card but so far I'm not really impressed. Happened with TOTY Best as well and now he is my captain - hopefully something similar will happen with this card, too.

Packed her today and I was not excited at all as I already have great midfielders like TOTY Sawa, FB Bruno, 92 Zidane, Base Zico, Centurion KDB and the list goes on... But oh my god she's the best attacking CM I've tried all year.

His evo'd version is the best CB I've had this year, his AI and his animations are huge. They didn't give him anticapate and intercept playstyles because it'd completely break the game.

I’ve played around 30 games with him and he’s insane. Feels really smooth on the ball, passing and shooting are great. Pace could be a bit higher and trivela playstyle would be also nice but still he reminded me a lot to Cruyff, I called him “baby Cruyff” (I’m not saying that he is as good as the dutch legend but there are many similarities between the 2 cards). For 150k this player is a steal.

Sadly I had to sell him as Auba came out because I’m trying to run a Barca-City first owner PnP but I’ll definitely come back to this card later.

What do you think, will he drop significantly more in the next 1-2 weeks? I feel like he's already too cheap but this year's market is crazy...

I usually only spend coins and seek for upgrades on central posittions but with Centurion KDB, TS FDJ, Zidane and Eusebio in my team and 1.5m+ coins in the bank for weeks I've felt like I can upgrade on the wing. Generally my wingers don't score or assist a lot but this guy is different. 10 matches, 9 goals and 9 assists as an RM (442) / RCAM (4231). His left stick dribbling is so-so good, he's breaking my opponents ankles. Passing is insane and shooting is also way better than stats would suggest. He's a real game changer for me, his price is a joke.

Personally I'd not spend this much on a keeper. Use any high rated keeper who gives you maximum chemistry, all keepers are so inconsistent anyway. If you need an icon keeper then I'd just complete Schmeichel if you have fodder. Coins are better spent somewhere else.

I don’t play with WW Garrincha anymore but his trivelas were insane even without the playstyle so I’d play him on the right and Best on the left.

Better than stats would suggest, I've benched RTTK Di Maria for him, mainly for chem reasons but I don't feel like it's a downgrade. Works well for me on the wing or as LF/RF.

German budget Neymar.

His shooting would let him down a bit in that position imo. I use him on the wing to beat defenders 1v1 and pass the ball to the strikers to finish.

Very good and fun player on the wing. Reminds me of IF/SIF Vinicius from Fifa 22.

Restructured my team a bit and I miss this card a lot.

Unless you have a top tier attacker (like R9, Mbappe, Eusebio, Cruyff etc.) play both.

I couldn’t agree more. M/M ruined this guy for me in my team. I already have Messi, adding Benzema was not a good idea as both of them are kinda lazy, sometimes they stacked on each other waiting for the ball in the middle of the pitch.

Don’t get me wrong, Benzema did some crazy things and delivered important wins but I can’t handle 2 playmaker type of forwards. I need someone who is willing to run in empty spaces.

My favourite playstyles for wingers: technical plus, quick step, rapid, trivela/finesse (depeding on the foot). He's literally the only player in the entire game who has it all. Good stats, lean body type, premier league, brazil... Honestly it's no surprise that this card costs ~**** of fodder.

Tried him after IF Hansen and WW Garrincha and he's really really close to their level imo.

Without upgrades I like his centurion evo more. Rapid playstyle on that card makes him so good to me. Also I like H/L more as Griezmann already has H/H.

Budget Ginola. I can’t understand the negative comments on him, he’s good imo. The only thing I don’t like is the M/M but I get used to it with Musiala already.

Be patient. Grind objectives and complete SBCs, fodders will come. There’s no secret method you’ll pack a bunch of high rated card in the long term. Just don’t expect something huge from each and every packs.

I know I won’t be popular but I think no. His base card is less than 800k on the market.

We are lacking quality RM/RW in general, there are only a few top tier options but they are so expensive. This card is so fun to use and it’s not only his pace. With finisher he cooks.

How is he compared to Benzema?

Best player I've used this year by far. My 4 attackers are Messi, Benzema, RTTK Di Maria and him. I love them all but Neymar is simply another level. 250k is a steal even if I consider the very limited linking options.

This guy is crazy RW for me in 433(4) formation. His body type, PS+, explosive and 90 acceleration combined with his dribbling stats make him feel really fast and smooth, feels better on the ball than gold Neymar or Messi. If he gets all upgrades I can't even imagine what will it be like...

Pretty decent upgrade imo but not sure. I usually don’t notice much differences ingame between same player’s cards unless it’s really a huge stat upgrade or new playstyles.

I have the same budget for an attacker and I cannot find any worthy card for that price. There are quite a few decent options however when gold Neymar is 120k or gold Griezmann is fodder price it just doesn't feel right to spend that much coins on a slight upgrade. The real upgrades are starting over 2 million coins...

Is he a waste as a stayback CM/CDM? My other attacking/b2b CM is Zidane and I love the man so don’t want to replace him.

How is he on new gen? I’m a bit worried about the lack of playstyles

Sick card! Decided to have some fun and drop full meta team and formations and play with full of first owner team. He became my main man in a 4132 formation as a ST. Rocking with him in div3, I cannot wait for the upgrades.

I did his SBC after I’ve tried this evo card. This card performs great but imagine that his SBC card is even better. Anticapate+, bruiser playstyle, +5 in reactions and composure, +2 DEF and PHY - and I’ve just highlighted the most important stat upgrades. Currently he’s only 700k and not ****. Only with 85x2, 84x5 and 80+ upgrades he could be completed in no time without spending coins - and you got an elite defender for your efforts.

I ran with IF Hummels + Schlotterback in the last 100 games and I really wanted this card instead of Schlott. Sadly I'm disappointed, somehow he did not click for me, I don't like his ingame body at all.

Packed him yesterday from the new 84+ SBC. As a Barca fan I couldn’t be happier as also IF Ter Stegen joined my club a few days ago.

In game he reminds me to Maldini a lot, he’s really great with Blanc. Fast, agile (as expected) and surprisingly strong on the pitch. Feels great with the ball, too. However I’d probably never ever pay 400k+ for this card on the market as there are so many top tier, cheaper CBs this year.

If you need an offensive fullback then complete her. Mendy and Theo are better defenders, Bacha is a great offensive LB.

Gave him a go, you were right, he's truely noticable better than his gold.

I personally use RTTK Clauss and TB Di Lorenzo, depends on what links I need. They are both great imo.

Second ST or CAM imo but can really play any attacking position even on the wing in a 4231/4222 for example or attacking CM in 4321.

I love Messi but his low attacking work rate ****ed me off so many times. Bought this card recently and I'm happy with him so far.

I had really high hopes with her but I’m kinda disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not bad and offers really a lot when attacking. However when it comes to defending I feel like she’s lost a bit. Her tackling is very good in the 1vs1 situations but when someone is able to run past her it’s almost always over, she cannot recover from that situation like Theo or Mendy does. Especially in higher divisions everyone plays for cut backs, she gave me hard times defending it. I’m looking forward for the updates, hopefully they will help her.

Used Jordi Alba since release. I was hesitant to pay 90-100k coin for an LB with a ~800k budget but he really worth it as now I am able to stop way more attacks with his speed and strength on the left.

I was really excited about this card as I love the guy IRL. Played the whole WL with him from qualifiers to finals and he did not disappoint, scored a lot for me. However there are 2 cons with this card: acceleration and dribbling. Sometimes I've felt that I'm in a mud with him (and it was not because of the connection, rest of the team felt good) when he got the ball and none of the dribbling or pace boost chem style helped with this feeling. I think he's a decent striker option for most of the teams as of now and for a few weeks but he won't survive December in starting 11 for most of us.

Hunter maxes out pace stats and also finishing and keep him mostly explosive so for me it's the way to go.

You really can’t go wrong with either but probably Neymar if you can link him. 5/5 is huge.

I play him with shadow as I need him to defend as well and his defensive stats are not the best by default plus I can take that extra pace to carry the ball forward.

How is he compared to his gold? Now that that card is under 10k I am really wondering if this minor stat upgrade worth the more than 10x price tag.

I've benched POTM Griezmann for him. That 5* WF with his shooting is just too much threat for the opponents.

First I didn’t like him but with maestro he’s a different player, really needs that dribbling boost (at least for my playstyle).
