Is he a waste as a stayback CM/CDM? My other attacking/b2b CM is Zidane and I love the man so don’t want to replace him.

As a hungarian I wanted this card so bad, finally I could afford him last week. I’m a bit disappointed because my childhood hero is not that good in this game as he should be. His left foot is out of this world for sure but dribbling and animations are really weird sometimes (stocky body type I guess), his speed is underwhelming in a lot of situations and he missed a lot of chances with his right foot. Still a great card but my expectations were higher than what this card can offer for me at this price.

Many evolutions in the past was a disappointment for me but I've decided to take the 100k risk with this card. There's something with him in the game, he's unbelievable as an ST in 2 striker formations. His positioning and movement is so good, the ball literally sticks to him and he bangs in shots like rockets from everywhere. His R1 dibbling is that good that I thought he has technical playstyle. I don't like to hype cards but I honestly think that he can and will outshine million coins players. I'm even a bit sad about it as he outscores my 2.5 mil 92 Eusebio card (great duo though!)...

Be patient. Grind objectives and complete SBCs, fodders will come. There’s no secret method you’ll pack a bunch of high rated card in the long term. Just don’t expect something huge from each and every packs.

First I did not want to complete him because I already have TS FDJ and Cent KDB but recent objectives and SBCs gave so many fodders so I pulled the trigger. I did not want to get rid of FDJ or KDB so I decided to try him behind Eusebio as a CAM / second striker. God, he's insane I really don't understand the negative comments on the card. First 10 matches 10 golas and 7 assists in div3. And that feeling when you score or assist with your childhood hero is so satisfied... Have not tried him as a CM yet but he's very similar to KDB whom I love so I guess he will work there, too.

If you ask it here they'll say Kenny. If you ask it at Eusebio's comment section they'll say him. You should try their loans to see who you like better.Personally I think both are great but if I'd have to choose one I'd go with the Portuguese guy as he has much better passing and I use my strikers in the build up play a lot. Finesse shots are still great though so if you rely on them then Kenny is your guy.

He performs really well as an RM for me. I cannot describe how good his passing is.

I know I won’t be popular but I think no. His base card is less than 800k on the market.

My emotional inner me wants a Zizu card so bad as he was the first player I admired as a kid. But I have untradeable centurions KDB and I enjoy that card a lot so I guess I'll just pass this SBC for now.

We are lacking quality RM/RW in general, there are only a few top tier options but they are so expensive. This card is so fun to use and it’s not only his pace. With finisher he cooks.

I like watching Salah irl and loved his cards in previous games, haven’t played with him in FC24 yet. Decided to buy this card for the WL. Only thing I did not really like is his dribbling. Despite the stats he did not feel too good on the ball. Reading the comments under his cards it seems that I am not the only one with this feeling.

You really can’t go wrong with either but probably Neymar if you can link him. 5/5 is huge.

Unless you have a top tier attacker (like R9, Mbappe, Eusebio, Cruyff etc.) play both.

Auba's card is great, I've used him this WL until I packed this beast from rewards. Acceleration and dribbling are the 2 main key differences between the cards. Pedro feels much much better on the ball and his initial speed is just insane. Auba's left stick dribbling is not that responsive and it feels like that you are in the mud when you start sprinting with him. R9, Mbappe or Eusebio also don't have much playstyles still they are arguably the best attackers in the game and this is the first "cheap" card that comes close to them (at least this is how I feel it ingame).

ST next to POTM Griezmann but I feel like he could play any attacking position.

Hunter maxes out pace stats and also finishing and keep him mostly explosive so for me it's the way to go.

I was really excited about this card as I love the guy IRL. Played the whole WL with him from qualifiers to finals and he did not disappoint, scored a lot for me. However there are 2 cons with this card: acceleration and dribbling. Sometimes I've felt that I'm in a mud with him (and it was not because of the connection, rest of the team felt good) when he got the ball and none of the dribbling or pace boost chem style helped with this feeling. I think he's a decent striker option for most of the teams as of now and for a few weeks but he won't survive December in starting 11 for most of us.

I was lucky enough to pack him from WL rewards. First I didn't understand the price of a card with only 1 playstyle. All I can say is that now I can understand. I'm shocked how good he is, card is not overpriced but underpriced!

I play him with shadow as I need him to defend as well and his defensive stats are not the best by default plus I can take that extra pace to carry the ball forward.

Second ST or CAM imo but can really play any attacking position even on the wing in a 4231/4222 for example or attacking CM in 4321.

Price is a small L without any WF upgrade but it's still a really nice card. All important stats except dribbling (which is already high enough) got a +2/3 compared to his gold card. We also got a new playstyle which feels really nice ingame. I can agree on that the price could be more fair around 4-450k but this complain and hate from the community is a joke. Most of us are willing to take 250k+ worth of fodder in icon gamble SBC 6 times to get back players like Ian Rush, Gattuso or Trezeguet while this card is better than 90% of all icons for 2x the price of that **** icon SBC.

I've overlooked this card until I was lucky enough to pack him from the 87+ party bag SBC. Passing and shooting are out of this world. Best attacking CM I've used by far.

I’ve played around 30 games with him and he’s insane. Feels really smooth on the ball, passing and shooting are great. Pace could be a bit higher and trivela playstyle would be also nice but still he reminded me a lot to Cruyff, I called him “baby Cruyff” (I’m not saying that he is as good as the dutch legend but there are many similarities between the 2 cards). For 150k this player is a steal.Sadly I had to sell him as Auba came out because I’m trying to run a Barca-City first owner PnP but I’ll definitely come back to this card later.

I have the same budget for an attacker and I cannot find any worthy card for that price. There are quite a few decent options however when gold Neymar is 120k or gold Griezmann is fodder price it just doesn't feel right to spend that much coins on a slight upgrade. The real upgrades are starting over 2 million coins...

This guy is crazy RW for me in 433(4) formation. His body type, PS+, explosive and 90 acceleration combined with his dribbling stats make him feel really fast and smooth, feels better on the ball than gold Neymar or Messi. If he gets all upgrades I can't even imagine what will it be like...

Personally I'd not spend this much on a keeper. Use any high rated keeper who gives you maximum chemistry, all keepers are so inconsistent anyway. If you need an icon keeper then I'd just complete Schmeichel if you have fodder. Coins are better spent somewhere else.

Sick card! Decided to have some fun and drop full meta team and formations and play with full of first owner team. He became my main man in a 4132 formation as a ST. Rocking with him in div3, I cannot wait for the upgrades.

Generally speaking you'll always find players for close to fodder price who can perform on at least a 90% level of really expensive cards. In really tight matches that extra ~10% performance can be decisive but most of the time it doesn't really matter. I'm a div 3 and 11-14 WL win player and I don't think that I could reach better results even if I could somehow afford really the best players for each positions. Improving at the game and abusing **** mechanics would help though. :)

Without upgrades I like his centurion evo more. Rapid playstyle on that card makes him so good to me. Also I like H/L more as Griezmann already has H/H.

I know that the gambling SBCs generally suck but I always be like "hey, maybe I'll have some luck this time". I've spent a lot of resources on Hero and Icon SBCs, even bought some guaranteed Icon packs in the store for the first time since Fifa 21 and I literally got nothing useable. Don't be like me, keep your fodder for something else.

Got him from the 89 max icon SBC. I've played the champs qualifier with him and sadly he's as bad for me as I expected. He can run. And that's all. Passing is awful, finishing is disappointing and even women can push him off the ball.It's a shame becuase I liked him as a player when I was young but in this game thanks to the dumb attacking AI and very OP defensive AI which turns every player into prime Maldini you just simply cannot be efficient with non meta players...

Better than stats would suggest, I've benched RTTK Di Maria for him, mainly for chem reasons but I don't feel like it's a downgrade. Works well for me on the wing or as LF/RF.

I’ve only packed English icons with the casino SBC. I hope that EA is trying to send me a sign that this legend will be my big pull one day.

Packed him yesterday from the new 84+ SBC. As a Barca fan I couldn’t be happier as also IF Ter Stegen joined my club a few days ago.In game he reminds me to Maldini a lot, he’s really great with Blanc. Fast, agile (as expected) and surprisingly strong on the pitch. Feels great with the ball, too. However I’d probably never ever pay 400k+ for this card on the market as there are so many top tier, cheaper CBs this year.

Zanetti is a prime Kante with great passing.

I had really high hopes with her but I’m kinda disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not bad and offers really a lot when attacking. However when it comes to defending I feel like she’s lost a bit. Her tackling is very good in the 1vs1 situations but when someone is able to run past her it’s almost always over, she cannot recover from that situation like Theo or Mendy does. Especially in higher divisions everyone plays for cut backs, she gave me hard times defending it. I’m looking forward for the updates, hopefully they will help her.

With Blanc he’s very good for me. The most dominant CB after VVD I’ve tried this year. If he gets 2-3 upgrades he’ll be better than Virgil imo. Way too cheap for what he offers on the pitch plus that link to Neymar…

Budget Mbappe, I hope he'll get a few upgrades

Tried him in a few rivals game already in div3. Better than stats would suggest, his body type is great. Gonna use him for a few weeks. But that's why I think he's at least a small L, I can't see him in my squad in mid december. The likes of Eto'o, Vieira, Ribery etc. will be good until TOTS but not this card sadly. Still it could be worse with a Keane pull for example...

Nobody has a crystal ball but most likely every cards will drop a lot next week due to black friday. 89 and under icons will be also affected by today’s icon SBC (if it is really released today).Personally I’d sell every tradeable card that worth more than fodder price.

If you need an offensive fullback then complete her. Mendy and Theo are better defenders, Bacha is a great offensive LB.

Sold Neymar (my favourite card this year) after finished my WL campaign and packed this guy untradeable. Rocking with him in div3 rivals, I enjoy playing it a lot. Fast, left stick dribbling is great and can beat anyone 1vs1. Finishing is also good with deadeye but don't try outside the box finesse with him. For me the only downside is the low long passing but for now I can live with that. Not sure if he's worth 100k coins though as Neymar is only 130k now but if you need him for links or pack him like me he's worth a try.

He’s not bad but for me not better than Militao or Varane, they are even slightly better imo. Blanc and VVD are at least 1 tier above this card at least for me (new gen).The biggest problem is his acceleration and body type. Varane and VVD are able to tackle in a much bigger range (thanks to their animations and body type) and Militao has the pace to catch people if you f*ck up. With this guy if you make a mistake there is almost no chance to recover.

Need him to link Llorente but I really miss Courtois...

Used him for more than 50 rivals+champs game now as a CM/CDM. He’s really insane, bosses the midfield. I really don’t understand why is he dropping recently as on top of his very good ingame performance he’s the only top tier link to Messi and RTTK Di Maria.

Hero Rashford would be my choice. But I'd personally go for an icon. For ~700k you can buy 90 Butragueno on PS4. Prime Van Basten is even cheaper and he doesn't disappoint me in Division 1.

I don't think CR7 is much better. Maybe slightly. But he needs to be used in a different way than Mbappe. His dribbling and speed is worse but you get strength and aerial threat in exchange. You should try out the loan CR7 before purchase him but if you like Mbappe both irl and ig I'd stick with him.

Would you recommend him as an LCAM over 92 Neymar?

I use 90 Butra with Inaki. Totally agree with you. Also I think they are perfect together.

Thanks for the review mate! I really liked watch him play irl however unfortunately he's out of my budget but I'd like to try some icon players. Have you tried any other of them except Gerrard? Who would you recommend over NIF Messi in a CF / ST position? I've been looking 88 Raul for a few days now but not sure if he's worth it. I love Messi both irl and ig but I also keen on trying out new players without downgrading my squad...

I guess we can say that you agree with me then. :D Anyway I think it always depends on your budget. I beleive that every team needs to be balanced if you want to win most of your games. This card in a 2-3 mil squad is a no for me. Too much for one player in that cir***stances in my opinion. But this card in a squad at least 4-5 mil is worth considering.

Honestly I was thinking about buying him. However atm he costs almost 1,5 mil (PS4). I think that's too much even if he's that good. From 1,5 mil you can buy NIF Messi and SIF Suarez and you still have 200k.I don't like the expression value for coins because obviously NIF Rodrigo will always be a better value for coin than CR7 since CR7 is not 400 times better than Rodrigo. But in this case if I were you I'd purches IF Mbappe (770k atm) as he has a huge chance to get upgraded in a month and he is obviously better value for coins and also can play on a similar level.

His NIF card is fantastic for me as an ST in 4231 / 4222.

Been thinking of Dybala for a while as I added Salah to my squad and Grizi went from RST to RCAM in 4222 and Salah RST.But Griezmann is a game changer for me. My only current issue with him atm is his h/h workrate and 81 stamina... He looses speed noticable around minute 70. But it wasn't an issue at all when I played him at ST.
