DanMore Centurion Evolutions dropped over the weekend and this time we’ve been treated to maybe one of the best Evo’s so far? Centurion Centre Back. The requirements to complete this Evolution are fairly easy and the full process can be completed in around 2 hours if you’re happy to play Squad Battles. Only 9 games are required and with 4 minute halves, it’s very doable in a short period of time. Let’s take a look through the best option for this Evolution.
Federico Ceccherini
The first player in our list is actually a special card, but don’t worry he won’t cost you a single coin to attain. Ceccherini available via Squad Foundation Objectives and gets a really nice boost from an 83 to 86. Their standard special cards may not seem great but it’s always worth completing the objectives to have that option when new Evolutions are released.
Pau Torres
Pau Torres is one of many Premier League players to feature here with the English top flight providing a number of great options. Just like Ceccherini, Pau Torres goes from an 83 to 86 with the Evolution and gains some incredible stats. 74 Pace, 87 Defending and 84 Physical are the standouts.
Ibrahima Konate
We saw Konate’s price rise from 800 coins to 8,000 coins right before this Evolution was released which meant we knew he’d be a popular choice no matter the requirements. The Liverpool defender was a favourite in starter teams so with the upgrade it’s no surprise he’s in our top picks. He gets boosted to 79 pace and 85 in both Defending and Physical to create an incredible card.
Jean Clair Todibo
Todibo isn’t the first and won’t be the last special card to feature here, the cool thing about Evolutions is that TOTW’s and other specials can be boosted too and they even keep their dynamic image! As with Konate, the pace gets increased to 79 but he has even better defensive stats, hitting 87 in 4 of his 5 in-game defending stats.
Facundo Medina
Another special Ligue 1 card makes the list in the way of Facundo Medina, who actually features in this week's TOTW! As I’ve mentioned before, the dynamic image is what really makes these cards cool, even if they're not the absolute best option. Medina is still a great card and also offers brilliant links.
Nathan Ake
Nathan Ake is the first of 3 Manchester City player on our list and it could have been four if we wanted to include Alex Greenwood. The Dutchman only gets a boost to an 84 but is still an incredible card. 82 Passing is the one thing that sets him apart from other option (aside from Johannes Geis). Still some very strong defensive stats, but wouldn’t be our number 1 pick.
Manuel Akanji
Sticking with Manchester City and we move to Manuel Akanji. He’s one of the players who also shot up in price when this was rumoured to be coming and the stats tell you why. 79 Pace and 86 Defending are incredible although he is lacking a tiny bit when it comes to Physical.
Josko Gvardiol
I think everyone who chooses mets Evolution cards will be going for Josko Gvardiol and I can’t blame them. 80 Pace, 85 Defending and 86 Physical is a mental card to be getting in a free upgrade. The only downside to completing this card is that he’s extinct. He’s a clear favourite so there are very few on the market currently.
Mario Hermoso
We couldn’t stay in the Premier League for every prediction so we’ve included the best option from La Liga, Mario Hermoso. He always has a very strong card for the first few weeks and with an upgrade available, we might see him in teams for a little longer. A really solid option if you’re running La Liga or Spain teams.
Dominique Janssen
If it wasn’t for the height then I think this would be hands down the best option for this Evolution. Unfortunately she stands at just 5ft8 which is a problem when it comes to CB’s. Aside from that she has such an unreal card, 5* Weak Foot, 80 Pace, 86 Defending and 83 Physical. Shame about the height but if you don’t think that’ll bother you then Janssen is a great shout.
As always with Evolutions, there isn’t a right or wrong choice just pick who you like. The only thing you should be doing before completing is checking out or Evolutions Hub to make sure you’ve made the best choice!
