FC 24 TOTW 22 Predictions

By Aaron
12-Feb-24 10:25

After several weeks of mediocre sides, we have a side to get hyped for! With Theo Hernandez leading the backline we move to a duo of Rice and Bruno G in the middle before Vinicius and Haaland lead the line. What more could you ask for?

Federik Ronnow - GK - 79 > 85 OVR

Four saves and clean sheet  /  Union Berlin 1 - Wolfsburg 0  /  2 Kicker Rating

The goalkeeper position was a difficult one to fill and while at times we have included two keepers with ease I struggled to get one this time. Ronnow is who I settled on after making a few key saves to keep his clean sheet during Union Berlin's 1-0 win.

Theo Hernandez - LB - 85 > 88 OVR

Goal and clean sheet  /  AC Milan 1 - Napoli 0  /  7 Gazzetta Rating

Hernandez hasn’t been shy of a promotional inclusion this year with four to his name as it stands. That looks set to increase again after the Frenchman scored the only goal of the game as AC Milan beat Napoli.

Toby Alderweireld - CB - 81 > 87 OVR

Two goals and clean sheet  /  Molenbeek 0 - Antwerp 4  /  9 Sofascore Rating

An 87-rated Alderweireld is not something I expected in 2024 but it looks a real possibility during TOTW 22. The Belgian scored twice from the spot alongside keeping a clean sheet as Antwerp cruised to a 4-0 victory.

Josip Stanisic - RWB - 75 > 87 OVR

Goal and clean sheet  /  Leverkusen 3 - Munich 0  /  1.5 Gazzetta Rating

Leverkusen maintained their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga with a convincing home win over fellow title contenders, Munich. Without Frinpong from the start, Stanisic stepped in and performed superbly. Scoring the opener while also claiming MOTM.

Riccardo Orsolini - RM - 78 > 86 OVR

Two goals  /  Bologna 4 - Lecce 0  /  7.5 Gazzetta Rating

It's been a strong campaign for Orsolini who took his tally to eight for the season after his brace on Sunday. The Italian has put in several key performances for Bologna and now looks set to receive his SIF.

Declan Rice - CM - 85 > 87 OVR

One goal, two assists  /  West Ham 0 - Arsenal 6  /  9 Sky Rating

West Ham got embarrassed by Arsenal at home on Sunday. The Gunners lead by four at HT before quickly adding another two soon after the break. Several players could gain inclusion into this side but Rice is the best option in my eyes.

Bruno Guimaraes - CM - 84 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Nottingham Forrest 2 - Newcastle 3  /  8 Sky Rating

Bruno received one of the worst-value SBCs early in the game but finally looked set to receive a tradeable option, one significantly cheaper too. The Brazilian scored twice as Newcastle battled to a 3-2 away win over Nottingham Forest.

Clara Mateo - RM - 84 > 87 OVR

Three goals, one assist  /  Bordeaux (W) 2 - Paris (W) 6  /  9.8 Sofascore Rating

Despite only making an appearance for the second half Mateo managed to contribute to four goals. She scored three of her own alongside providing the assist on another as Paris cruised to a 6-2 away win.

Vinicius Junior - ST - 89 > 90 OVR

One goal, two assists  /  Madrid 4 - Girona 0  /  9.8 Whoscored Rating

Girona and Real Madrid battled it out this weekend at the top of La Liga with Real Madrid coming away as convincing winners. The result now puts them five points clear at the top alongside becoming heavy favourites to lift the title. Both Vinicius and Bellingham stood out but I expect the Brazilian to claim the IF.

Erling Haaland - ST - 91 > 93 OVR

Two goals  /  Manchester City 2  /  Everton 0  /  9 Sky Rating

We have already seen Hansen receive an IF soon after her TOTY inclusion so I don't see that as being grounds to ignore Haaland this week. After a couple of poor sides, EA will want a decent TOTW and with Haaland scoring twice during a 2-0 win there is an easy opportunity here.

Donyell Malen - ST - 82 > 87 OVR

Two goals  /  Dortmund 3 - Freiburg 0  /  1.5 Kicker Rating

Ending the starting eleven we have another phenomenal card in Malen. The Dutchman looks set to receive his second IF of the year after scoring twice during a 3-0 win for Dortmund.

Pawel Jaroszynski - LWB - 66 > 85 OVR

Two goals, one assist and a clean sheet  /  Cracovia 6 - Radomiak 0  /  9.2 Sofascore Rating

Performances like this rarely occur for defenders but when they do they will inevitably be in TOTW, regardless of the division. Jaroszynski dominated the left-hand side providing three goal contributions while also maintaining a clean sheet.

Ismael Saibari - CM - 70 > 87 OVR

Goal and assist  /  Volendam 1 - PSV 5 /  8 Gazzetta Rating

Both Saibari and Teze stand a good chance for TOTW 22, with one being highly likely to make it. Saibari was named MOTM and then went on to receive player of the week in the Eredivisie after his goal and assist during the convincing win.

Jonathan Ikone - RM - 77 > 85 OVR

Goal and assist  /  Fiorentina 5 - Frosinone 1  /  7.5 Gazzetta Rating

Gazzetta ratings are rarely generous so once again 7.5 was among the highest of the week. With a goal and an assist during a convincing Fiorentina win, I can see Ikone sneaking his way in.

Denis Zakaria - CM - 79 > 85 OVR

Two goals  /  Nice 2 - Monaco 3  /  9 L’equipe Rating

A hard-fought battle between Nice and Monaco resulted in a 3-2 win for the away side. Zakaria was pivotal scoring two of those three. The Swiss international would have been perfect for the featured upgrade but with Zakaria featuring in the WW promotion, it looks to be just a single IF upgrade.

David Pereira Da Costa - CAM - 74 > 87 OVR

One goal, one assist  /  Lens 3 - Strasbourg 1  /  8 L’equipe Rating

With most other candidates receiving a promotional card before TOTW 22 it leaves the featured upgrade options few and far between. For that reason, I have taken the punt on Da Costa. The Lens forward played centrally rather than his usual winger role and returned both a goal and an assist while occupying the role.

Mostafa Mohamed - ST - 74 > 85 OVR

One goal, one assist  /  Toulouse 1 - Nantes 2  /  8 L’equipe Rating

There was a lack of striker options this week and I could have easily ignored the bench entirely of them. Realistically there will be at least two though so I have opted for Mohamed. The Egyptian was involved in both Nantes goals as they recorded a 2-1 win over Toulouse.

Rodrigo Muniz - ST - 69 > 85 OVR

Two goals  /  Fulham 3 - Bournemouth 1  /  Sky Rating

Despite signing Broja on loan Muniz continues to keep the Chelsea loanee out of the side. His latest performance was arguably his best in a Fulham shirt with the Brazilian scoring twice to lead his side to a 3-1 win.
