We enter the final stretch of domestic campaigns with titles and relegation battles being decided week by week. Whether that's Ryerson ending Munich’s slim hopes or Saliba’s defensive prowess leaving Arsenal ahead of City. TOTW 29 is a big one with lots of familiar faces looking likely.
Gianluigi Donnarumma - GK - 87 > 90 OVR
Ten saves and clean sheet / Marseille 0 - PSG 2 / 8 L’equipe Rating
Donnarumma is in some ridiculously good form right now. Despite going down to 10 men in the 40th minute PSG still managed to battle their way to a 2-0 win over Marseille. That would have been entirely different if it wasn't for the heroics of the Italian though. With a massive ten saves to his name Donnarumma now looks set to pick up his TIF. Which as a goalkeeper is almost unheard of.
William Saliba - CB - 83 > 87 OVR
Clean sheet / Man City 0 - Arsenal 0 / 8 Sky Rating
One of the biggest matches of the season saw Man City host Arsenal but as is often the case with these matches it was a cagey affair which ended 0-0. This is the first time in 47 home matches that Man City have failed to score a goal. Saliba was named MOTM from the match thus I expect him to receive an IF on Wednesday.
Sergio Ramos - CB - 83 > 86 OVR
Goal and clean sheet / Getafe 0 - Sevilla 1 / 8.3 Sofascore Rating
Sevilla have really dropped off this season and at times have looked in danger of a relegation battle. Ramos who is playing at his boyhood club has proved to be an impressive acquisition for the club. The Spaniard scored the only goal of the game away at Getafe this weekend as Sevilla now sit six points clear of the drop.
Adam Marusic - RB - 80 > 87 OVR
Goal and clean sheet / Lazio 1 - Juventus 0 / 7 Gazzetta Rating
Marusic has been a popular starter side selection for many editions of the game now but it finally looks as though a usable Marusic is on the way. The Montengran scored the only goal of the game as Lazio recorded a 1-0 win over Juventus in the dying embers of the game.
Harvey Barnes - LW - 80 > 87 OVR
Two goals / Newcastle 4 - West Ham 3 / 9 Sky Rating
A seven-goal thriller full of twists and turns played out between Newcastle and West Ham with the hosts coming out on top thanks to a late turnaround. There are a couple of options to select between here but Harvey Barnes stands out to me after his late double to turn the match on its head.
Angelo Stiller - CDM - 73 > 86 OVR
Goal and assist / Stuttgart 3 - Heidenheim 3 / 9.1 Sofascore Rating
Stuttgart v Heidenheim saw one of the most dramatic endings you will see with Stuttgart entering the final ten minutes 2-1 up before a Kleindienst brace saw them fall 3-2 behind. Undav popped up in the final minute to secure a draw and potentially Stiller’s SIF. With the lack of central options this week Stiller’s double contribution stands out.
Edon Zhegrova - RW - 75 > 87 OVR
Two goals / Lille 2 - Lens 1 / 8 L’equipe Rating
This was a huge game in terms of European qualification with both Lille and Lens making a push for it. Lille will be delighted with the three points, which puts them in the driving seat, currently sitting in fourth. Zhegrova scored both their goals which puts him in strong contention for his SIF.
Salma Paralluelo - LW - 78 > 89 OVR
Two goals, two assists / Levante (W) 0 - Barcelona (W) 5 / 9.3 Sofascore Rating
Another week, another Barcelona hammering. This time it comes via a 5-0 away win over Levante with youngster Paralluelo running the show. Her two goals and two assists should be enough to see a TIF with an impressive rating of 89.
Rafael Leao - LM - 86 > 89 OVR
One goal, one assist / Fiorentina 1 - AC Milan 2 / 7.5 Gazzetta Rating
While the Serie A title race looks a done deal already AC Milan will still be motivated to pick up results to secure second spot over Juventus. It was the Leao show on Saturday with the Portuguese winger playing his part in both Milan goals and with Gazzetta awarding him a 7.5 match rating his SIF looks to be just around the corner.
Cristiano Ronaldo - ST - 86 > 87 OVR
Hat trick / Al-Nassr 5 - Al-Tai 1 / 9.4 Sofascore Rating
Ronaldo is still without an IF this year which means this potential card would only be a modest 87 rating and in turn likely making it the cheapest Ronaldo special in the history of UT. The IF is extremely likely to occur after Ronaldo hit three during Al-Nassr’s comfortable 5-1 home win.
Artem Dovbyk - ST - 70 > 87 OVR
Two goals / Girona 3 - Real Betis 2 / 8.4 Sofascore Rating
Girona have dropped out of the title race and recent form has not been great but the Spanish club have still exceeded all expectations this season. Dovbyk has been one of their stand-out players throughout and another two goals this weekend helped them to turn the match around and claim all three points.
Robin Zentner - GK - 76 > 85 OVR
Nine saves and clean sheet / Leipzig 0 - Mainz 0 / 9.8 Sofascore Rating
There were two phenomenal performances from goalkeepers this week and realistically you just can’t leave either out. Zentner is the second, making nine saves in total to keep the scores level at 0-0. Leipzig will be left wondering what else they could have done to take all three points.
Hasan Kurucay - CB - 67 > 85 OVR
Two goals and clean sheet / Braunschweig 5 - Elversberg 0 / 10 Sofascore Rating
We have not seen this sort of inclusion as regularly as in previous years due to the lack of divisions which end up receiving IF’s. The second tier of Bundesliga does get included a fair amount and due to that Kurucay looks a nailed on selection this week. The Turkish CB scored two alongside helping to keep his side's clean sheet intact.
Julian Ryerson - RB - 77 > 85 OVR
Goal and clean sheet / Munich 0 - Dortmund 2 / 8.2 Sofascore Rating
Dortmund have seemingly put the final dagger into Munich’s title hopes with a 2-0 away win on Saturday, a result which saw Tuchel admit that Leverkusen have now won the title. Ryerson scored the second of those two goals and although without Kicker ratings this week the Norweigen is still a safe bet here.
Lucas Zelarayan - LM - 79 > 85 OVR
Three assists / Al-Wehda 2 - Al-Fateh 3 / 9 Sofascore Rating
Zelarayan doubles up on the potential Saudi IF’s this week after his trio of assists helped Al-Fateh claim a 3-2 away win. EA have been significantly more consistent when it comes to recognising the assists this season so I would suggest the chances of an IF Zelarayan are high.
Marco Grull - ST - 72 > 87 OVR
Hat trick / Hartberg 0 - Rapid 3 / 8.7 Sofascore Rating
Historically play-off fixtures have been very hit-and-miss from EA over the years and this will be the first indication of whether they will include them or not. Grull has picked up some impressive form for Rapid Wienn recently and another three goals were added to his tally on Sunday during a 3-0 away win.
Cristan Arango - ST - 76 > 85 OVR
Hat trick / Salt Lake 3 - St Lois 1 / 8.7 Sofascore Rating
The MLS IF’s just keep occurring and at least one will be on the way this week as well. Arango is nailed on for the bench after scoring all three of RSL’s goals during their routine 3-1 home win over St Louis.
Ben Brereton - ST - 74 > 85 OVR
Two goals / Sheffield United 3 - Fulham 3 / 9 Sky Rating
It would say something remarkable to see Sheffield survive the drop now. A Ben Brereton brace saw them lead Fulham 3-1 deep into the match but two late goals saw them come away with only a single point. Despite that, I feel that Brereton has done enough to be included in TOTW 29.
