FC 24 Liga F Team of The Season Prediction

With Barcelona currently on 64 points from a possible 66 with a +92 GD, it is therefore no surprise that this side is dominated by their players, eight to be precise. There are several options to build hype upon even without the Barcelona links.

Dolores Gallardo - GK - 80 > 91 OVR

You would be inclined to expect Barcelona’s keeper to be the first inclusion but due to how good her side is in comparison to the league Coll has only made 11 saves so when it comes to goalkeepers I would expect others to receive recognition. Gallardo also maintains a strong record with six clean sheets and only 16 goals conceded from her 22 matches played. Additionally with a larger quantity of saves, currently sitting on 49.

Ona Batlle - LB - 85 > 94 OVR

While it is easy to focus on the offensive side of Barcelona’s game with the crazy numbers they record week in and week out the defence is right up there too. With just five goals conceded all season no other side comes close. Batlle is an ever-present part of that and her inclusion into TOTY shows just how good she can be. Additionally, the Spaniard has chipped in with a goal and five assists, which remarkably makes it more goal contributions than goals conceded for her this season.

Irene Paredes - CB - 88 > 95 OVR

With Mapi Leon facing a long time out on the sidelines, it risked disrupting the ever-reliable Barcelona backline. That was anything but the case however as they continue to excel. Paredes has been among the best defenders in the world for some time now and her experience has helped Barcelona towards their almost immaculate defensive record.

Marta Torrejon - RB - 84 > 93 OVR

Although there is quite a lot of rotation within the Barcelona backline, mainly due to how much talent is at the club more often than not it would be Batlle at LB and Torrejon on the right. I expect both to make this side with the previously mentioned defensive numbers. The Spaniard has chipped in going forward with four goals and two assists. Torrejon does however need a huge pace increase to be classed as remotely usable.

Salma Paralluelo - LW - 78 > 96 OVR

One player I feel was robbed of a spot in TOTY was Paralluelo the young Spanish winger has recorded ridiculous numbers since breaking through for Barcelona with 15 goals and 3 assists so far this season. Although she was snubbed for TOTY there is 0% chance of that happening again here and what a card it will be.

Patricia Guijarro - CM - 88 > 96 OVR

I strongly believe that Guijarro should have featured in TOTY rather than Putellas but that name does carry a lot of weight. That being said I am taking the same risk for TOTS. Guijarro has played more games, made more attacking contributions and plays a more defensive role. Everything points the way of Guijarro making this side.

Aitana Bonmati - CM - 90 > 97 OVR

This years Ballon d’Or Feminin was awarded the way of Bonmati. Her performances have continued in the middle of the park for Barcelona as the tricky Spaniard continues to excel and at just 26 years of age, there is plenty still to come. With both eight goals and eight assists from central midfield it's clear to see why there is so much hype surrounding Bonmati.

Claudia Pina - CAM - 83 > 94 OVR

While in terms of numbers, this has been the worst season for Pina at Barcelona, with a respectable eight goals and four assists I can see the youngster sneaking in. You could argue that Barcelona have more than enough and this is a position that could miss out as a result, however, it would be harsh to ignore her.

Caroline Graham Hansen - RW - 90 > 97 OVR

When you consider that only 22 matches have been played so far in Liga F, Hansen’s stats are simply ridiculous as a winger. With 17 goals and 16 assists it’s no wonder she is regarded as one of the best players in the female game right now. Barcelona have scored an astonishing 97 goals this season but Hansen has been directly involved in just over a third of those.

Sheila Guijarro Gomez - ST - 72 > 91 OVR

With both Barcelona and Real Madrid, the two powerhouses in the division not really having that prolific striker it gives some other clubs a chance to get in on the action. The first is Atletico Madrid striker, Gomez. The Spaniard has scored twelve times in total putter her fourth in the Golden Boot race.

Cristina Martin-Prieto - ST - 78 > 92 OVR

Next, we move on to Sevilla striker, Prieto. Despite sitting down in 7th she has been among the most prolific players in the division. Scoring on fourteen occasions so far. This tally puts the Spaniard third in the race for the Golden Boot, just three behind league leader Hansen. Even if EA opt for a reduced 11 of these sides I would still expect Prieto to get the nod.

Substitutes

Emma Holmgren - GK - 75 > 89 OVR

Selecting a goalkeeper for this side was difficult, with several standing out. Levante are the surprise package of the season and a large reason for that success comes from their defence. I have already spoken about the wingbacks but Holmgren also plays a large role between the sticks. With seven clean sheets, its only Barcelona that can boast better but Holmgren can boast a significantly higher number of saves.

Olga Carmona - LB - 79 > 93 OVR

While Real Madrid’s defensive record is slightly off some others in the division there can be no arguments surrounding the inclusion of Carmona. The Spaniard causes constant issues down the left-hand side regularly chipping in with offensive returns. With five goals and seven assists to her name, she is right up there in goal contributions which as a LB is not something you see very often.

Antonia Silva - RB - 80 > 91 OVR

Both Levante wingbacks have made a claim to feature within this side but it's the right side I am opting for, partially due to two other LB’s being nailed on but I also feel the Brazilian edges the battle. Levante obtains the third-best defence in the division while their defenders have a lot of work to do at the same time. Silva is second in the division for assists and 24th for tackles.

Karen Araya - CM - 73 > 89 OVR

Onto one of the few unique sides we have in this prediction with Araya. The Chilean midfielder has both seven goals and seven assists from the center of the park with her experience showing in Liga F. This is Araya’s fourth season in the division but offensively things have excelled for her with a previous high of four goals in a season being comfortably beaten.

Sandie Toletti - CM - 80 > 90 OVR

With Barcelona midfielders providing ridiculous numbers it becomes difficult to be noticed without the goals and assists to your name. Toletti is an exception though with the French midfielder playing a huge role for Real Madrid in the middle of the park. Toletti sits 12th for average pass completion while outside of defenders is right up there within the tackle statistics.

Naomie Feller - RM - 79 > 91 OVR

Feller has been a popular option among several evolutions this year but those will likely be deemed worthless upon her TOTS release. The Real Madrid youngster has been a consistent performer for RM this season scoring eight times while assisting another five. Positionally it was a difficult call to make but I believe RM is her most played position.

Synne Jensen - ST - 81 > 91 OVR

Under similar circumstances to Prieto, Jensen plays in a side-sitting midtable which makes her goal tally more impressive. The Danish striker has recorded eleven goals and four assists, putting her fifth for the Golden Boot while her fourteen goal contributions are almost half of Sociedad's total of 29 for the season.
