Group A
Argentina brushed away any competition in Group A, finishing on a maximum of 9 points, securing early double upgrades for De Paul, Enzo and Alvarez. Canada qualified in second and brought in upgrades for all 4 of their represented items. Despite exiting the competition, +Chemistry upgrades are applied for Castillo and Suazo, with the latter also receiving a +1 for 2 clean sheets.

Group B
Venezuela took Group B by storm and claimed 3 points in every single one of their matches. Unfortunately for us, they only have two Live Cards that can be upgraded! Both of their cards were upgraded in some form, alongside all of 2nd place Ecuador. Mexico have 7 Live Cards but it’s the end of the road for them, a 1-0 win over Jamaica was their only win and definitely not enough to progress.

Group C
Group C certainly provided the shock and entertainment factor. Marco Bielsa’s Uruguay breezed through with 3 wins from 3, but hosts USA were a disappointment. Just a single win against Bolivia wasn’t enough to see them progress and we’ll see their upgrades end at the group stage. Some very tidy upgrades for Uruguay however, Intercept+ on Araujo and FInesse+ on Forlan! If they go all the way, we could be seeing 99 ratings for Bentancur and Araujo…
Uruguay
- Forlan (+ 1 OVR and Finesse Shot+)
- Bentancur (+ 1 OVR and Pinged Pass+)
- Araujo (+ 1 OVR and Intercept+)

Group D
According to Ronaldimho, Brazil “lack everything” and he won’t be watching them during Copa America. Brazil have done themselves no favours in backing up this statement, finishing second being Colombia meaning they’ll face Uruguay in the Quarter Finals. One positive of Brazil’s performance was their 4 goal win over Paraguay, which meant the newly released Icons were almost instantly given their double upgrade. Unfortunately Cafu was released after this game was played meaning no upgrades for him.
Colombia
