Futties is finally here! The moment we spend the entire game cycle (Or at least three quarters of the cycle) looking towards is here which means it’s pack party time! Alongside that of course comes some excellent pink cards that almost always break the game and that theme looks to be carrying on this year! Neymar leads this current squad with a 99-rated item! Some great Futties Icon cards too in Ribery and Jairzinho! So many cards to even talk about!
Today however of course we are looking to the SBC section and we have been treated to not one, but two great looking Futties SBCs in Luka Modric and Kaka! I am getting my hands on both of these cards. But the player we are talking about today is Kaka. I always really look forward to using Kaka in-game but he never seems to live up to the hype I build. So hopefully this card finally does just that. He has been given a +4 from his previous Golazo Icon card and of course comes with 4 playstyles. I see the Finesse+ and that is all that is needed to get the job done.
As mentioned, i’ve got my hands on both Kaka and Modric so I am hoping that these two tear things up. But weirdly neither of these play in the positions I would want them to. Kaka comes as a ST and can only play CF/LW/LM. So for the purposes of this he will be the ST ready to take advantage of that 97 shooting.
For Playstyle here I have opted for the Engine. His shooting is near enough maxed out so it’s only right to do the same for Pace, Passing and Dribbling. Hoping this will make him an unstoppable force upfront.

How did he perform in-game?
+ Dribbling on this card was really nice, especially of course when using the Technical dribbling. His ball control was also very impressive due to the first touch playstyle+
+ Shooting also felt incredible on this card, there was occasions when he was a little slow to take the shot off but once he did, it screamed towards the goal.
+ Passing also felt real smooth on this card. Quick tiki taka style passes worked wonders with this card.
/ Pace was okay but due to his body type he didn’t feel incredibly rapid. Especially not like a card with 95 pace.
- Positioning was a bit of a letdown for me. High/High workrates sent him all over the place and often when I was moving up with my wide players he was no where to be seen to receive the ball. He simply did not suit the striker role very well.
Kaka - Cop or Flop?
As I said at the beginning. I always have a lot of hope in a new Kaka card because I really want him to live up to the hype. But this card for me just wasn’t it. Maybe if you were to put him further back into the midfield he would do a better job. But going from face value, this card is an attacker and currently there are so many better items at a much cheaper price that will do a much better job.
I really hate to say it but at this stage of the game, any cards being released should be near premium items with nothing negative to say about them. But I just wasn’t a massive fan of this card and will no doubt be reverting back to using my PTG Nunez until another Futties Striker comes along.
Verdict = FLOP
