It’s a brand new year and with it, comes a brand new promo. I hope you have all had a safe and wonderful new year. Here's hoping that 2025 on FC25 is bigger and better than last year! As mentioned a new promo is among us and it is the NumeroFUT promo. What is NumeroFUT? “It is Special Player items who fight for the badge on the front while elevated by the number on the back.” as told directly by EASPORTSFC. All I see is those dynamic images with the kit numbers and it’s giving me FUTMAS nostalgia. So I’m here for it,
Looking at the SBC for today we have the return of player pick SBCs in that we actually have to make a choice on two different cards, which requires us to really think about which option we should choose. Personally, I love this and really wish there was more and more of it. There should be more at stake when making these kind of decisions. But perhaps I'm in the minority with this one. But the SBC today is NumeroFUT Pedro Neto. Two different versions of this card to choose from and the main standouts for me is one has Finesse+ and the other has Technical+. I already know which I'll be choosing.
The other key difference here is that the “Finesse” version comes with the 5* weak foot whilst the Technical version comes with 5* skill moves. Outside of that there are minor differences in stats but for me, the finesse version of Neto is absolutely clear here. Massive boosts on the base version with a +10 overall and huge boosts to shooting, passing, defensive and physical stats. The card is versatile too, he can play RW/RM/LW and Striker. Typically I would always play a card in its default position but seeing the 90+ pace and shooting, I had to put this man upfront and center.
For Chemstyle here I opted for the Hunter in order to max out the pace and shooting as he was going to be the main force of attack in the squad. Alternatively an Engine or Hawk would work really well, especially if using the card on the wing.
Here are the following segments to unlock the NumeroFUT Neto SBC:

Only 4 segments here in total and again EA have me shocked to see a premier league SBC coming in with a reasonable price tag? This card on the market genuinely could have been quite pricey but this SBC is coming in just short of 150k. No complaint whatsoever on the price here.
How did he perform in-game?
+ Pace was exactly what you would expect here, he’s very quick and can outrun a lot of the opposition with ease.
+ The shooting is of course what draws this option to be more favorable. His finesse is absolutely incredible as you would typically expect on any card with finesse+ but his finishing as well is so clinical. He is a deadly threat on the ball.
+ Positioning was also impressive as he often made attacking runs into space to be able to pick up the ball and be in the position to fire a shot into the net from range. He also pressed in and got involved to win the ball back when required.
+ Dribbling, much like pace also proved to be exactly what we would expect. He was incredibly agile on the ball and was able to maneuver around the opposition without breaking a sweat.
- The only downside of course is his low strength as he is very often forced off of the ball.
Neto - Cop or Flop?
This card might go down as one of my favorite SBCs of the year. The finesse version is absolutely clear and my only two gripes with the SBC in general is that the options are incredibly very one sided when one of the options is the best playstyle on the game and the other option doesn’t really offer marginal difference. The other greedy gripe I have is yet again another card without 2 playstyle pluses. Perhaps if they had given the second option a secondary PS+ then perhaps that would have evened out the choices and made this more interesting.
But the card in general is fantastic. From the pace to the dribbling to the ease of using finesse+, this card just had it all. On top of that, he only costs under 150k. I would expect to see this card a lot in the weekend league because this is a top-tier SBC. Get it before you regret it.
Verdict = COP
