FC 25 93 Flashback Ronaldo Player Review - Cop or Flop

FUT Birthday has arrived and it’s obviously early days but so far..so good, it looks like we’re in for a good one! (Famous last words..right?) Day 1 kicks off with some incredible players in packs and a FLASHBACK RONALDO SBC alongside a choice Havertz SBC - Review to follow!

Now although the content looks great on paper (or on FUTBIN 😉) the content in game in terms of prices looks scary! Ronaldo is costing over 20 SBC’s so not only does he require alot of fodder but also alot of time to unlock!

Ronaldo slotted in the team next to fellow portugal forward Eusebio forming an incredible partnership. I opted for the engine chemstyle for CR7 given that was the most popular chem style as voted by you!

How did he perform in-game?

+ Positioning, Ronaldo was perfect in this area, his natural runs, and just making himself available made him easy to get on the ball in good field position.

+ Shooting, just in general elite level shooting, left foot..right foot..head.. It did not matter he finished chances with ease, and really showed off the 99 rated composure by scoring under pressure, and ofcourse the finesse plus playstyle helped too!

+ Heading, it’ll come as a surprise to no one that Ronaldo was good in the air, and a great player to target if you like to cross.

/ The dribbling on this item was pretty frustrating to be honest, I wasn’t expecting a super agile card by any means but there were occasions were he felt amazing, but on others he felt so heavy on the ball.

Where to begin here?? A really fun item to try out, but I can say straight away I just struggle to find the value, Unless you value the Finesse I just can’t see why you’d pick this version over the TOTY version…and I’m a player who loves to spam that finesse shot! 

I of course don’t want this to seem like a negative review because the item itself is VERY good and for those in need of a finisher this guy will be amazing for you, but I just can’t justify the price tag with the TOTY item not been much more expensive and tradable.

Still given the name, I expect many to complete this SBC, and for those who do, I hope you enjoy him!
