FC 25 Première Ligue Team of The Season Predictions

Both Lyon and PSG are powerhouses in the women’s game, so it comes as no surprise that we see them both dominate this TOTS. Paris FC have also impressed, however, and a few inclusions represent that. Popular names such as Karchaoui, Diani and Katoto lead the way, with several exciting players featured here.

Chiamaka Nnadozie - GK - 85 > 92 OVR

All of the top three sides in the Division 1 Féminine have phenomenal defensive records, but both PSG and Lyon’s goalkeepers have had far less to do than Nnadozie has for Paris FC. The Nigerian stopper was also nominated for a TOTY spot, showing that her performances have not gone unnoticed. With 41 saves and 10 clean sheets, I think she should have the goalkeeper position nailed down.

Sakina Karchaoui - LB - 87 > 96 OVR

Karchaoui has been one of the most popular female options since women were added to the game last year. Not only is she a fan favourite in-game, but the French full-back is also among the best in the world at what she does. Karchaoui earned a spot in TOTY and, therefore, inevitably receives a TOTS inclusion as well. With four goals and three assists from left-back, alongside PSG conceding only twelve goals this season, it’s a no-brainer really.

Wendie Renard - CB - 88 > 96 OVR

Renard is likely approaching the final years of her career, but her performances still make her one of, if not the best, central defenders in the women’s game currently. Standing at 6ft 2, she commands the backline and offers a significant attacking threat from set pieces. She has scored four times this season while also contributing to the best defensive record in the division, with Lyon conceding just seven goals so far.

Vanessa Gilles - CB - 83 > 92 OVR

Onto Renard’s defensive partner now in Gilles. Gilles has recorded an impressive six goals and one assist, meaning she has as many goal contributions as Lyon have goals conceded—a stat I doubt anyone else can boast. It’s difficult not to include the entire Lyon defence considering their record, but both centre-backs should be included at the very least.

Kessya Bussy - LM - 80 > 92 OVR

I expect only three sides to feature in this season's edition of Division 1 Feminine TOT,S with Paris likely being the least of those three. Bussy is the second I have selected from them however, with the youngster excelling down the left flank for them this season. With ten goals and six assist,s I am sure she will be on the radar of both PSG and Lyon moving forward.

Grace Geyoro - CM - 79 > 95 OVR (Moments)

The central midfield spots are slightly more debatable than the rest of the side, which I had very little difficulty selecting. I think this spot in particular could go a number of ways and will likely end up as a moment's inclusion. Geyoro stands out to me with six goals and four assists. Not as impressive as last season, but with some popular cards during FC 24, I can see that being the deciding factor in EA’s selection for this year’s edition.

Lindsey Horan - CM - 86 > 96 OVR

Horan narrowly missed out on a TOTY inclusion, but when it comes to TOT,S she is one of the first names making it into the squad. With eleven goals and seven assists in just fourteen matches, her influence on games is clear to see. Lyon dominates this division most seasons, and Horan has been one of their best players during this

Kadidiatou Diani - RW - 88 > 95 OVR

Diani is one of the more popular cards in the game and she is likely to receive a TOTS inclusion once again this season. With nine goals and five assists, the winger has been her usual threat down the right-hand side. Diani already has four promotional items in this game, so her fifth, a TOTS card, should be a very usable one indeed.

Melchie Dumornay - ST - 83 > 94 OVR

Dumornay has really made a name for herself this season, recording fifteen goals and six assists from just sixteen matches. She has cemented herself as Lyon’s main striker, which is an impressive achievement at just 21 years of age in an already dominant side. You would expect Dumornay to be at the top of the game for the next decade.

Clara Mateo - ST - 85 > 93 OVR

Mateo currently leads the Golden Boot race with sixteen goals to her name so far. While some of her appearances have seen her play in a right midfield position, the majority of the time Mateo operates as a striker, so that is where I expect the TOTS item to be. She has picked up two in-forms already this year, which in the women's divisions is always a strong indication of a TOTS inclusion come the end of the season.

Marie Katoto - ST - 88 > 96 OVR (Moments)

With a couple of strikers outperforming Katoto this season, there is a risk that she ends up missing out. Being a popular player in the game alongside still impressing for PSG this season, I can’t see that being an option, though. A moment's card is what I would expect to see, with her fourteen goals being more than enough to justify one.

Selma Bacha - LB - 86 > 95 OVR (Moments)

Another player that many FC fans will hope to see in this side is Bacha. While Karchaoui is the stronger option for the left-back role, Bacha has also performed well in a dominant Lyon side. A popular player who has performed consistently throughout the season should result in a moment's inclusion, in my opinion.
