FC 25 96 Path to Glory Player Review - Cop or Flop

The final week of Shapeshifters is here and i’ve got to say it. This Promo, albeit a shorter one, has been so much more enjoyable than TOTS. The cards have been insane and very affordable. Some SBCs could have been better but the cards available to us thanks to this promo have been close to perfect for me. 

But as I mentioned, this is the final week of Shapeshifters but alongside that we have the Women’s Euro Path to Glory cards! Instantly my eyes are locked in on a Rolfo item. I just had to try this card out.

Rolfo has had a few different items so far this year and since the women’s teams were introduced to Ultimate Team last year, she has been one of the best in the game due to how incredibly well-rounded she is. From her Flashback version, this card has seen an overall boost of +5 with of course some additional playstyle pluses. Four of them in total in Technical, Incisive Pass, Low Driven and Anticipate. The playstyles stick to the theme of versatility with Rolfo and of course she can play LB, LM and LW. 

Of course, this is a live card. So has some great potential to receive some boosts. Typically, I wouldn’t bet on Sweden going far but the Women’s team certainly has some promising players. So whilst Spain are likely the favourites there is still a chance this card see’s some sort of boost. 

There are five upgrades available for each player to try and earn, with upgrades to overall rating, PlayStyle Plus, skill moves, weak foot and positions all on offer. Here are all the upgrades available to earn:

• Team scored three or more goals in the group stages: +1 OVR
• Team qualifies for the Euro 2025 quarter-finals: five-star skill moves/weak foot, +1 alt position and every Role++
• Team qualifies for the Euro 2025 semi-finals: +1 PlayStyle Plus
• Team qualifies for the Euro 2025 final: +1 OVR
• Team wins Euro 2025: 99 OVR & Icon chemistry

The price at the time of picking up this card came in at just under 300k to purchase. Honestly I don’t think this is awful and i’m certain this will likely lower as the weekend unfolds.

How did she perform in-game?

+ Pace was quite surprising on this card. She often made bursts out of nowhere that left the opposition stumbling to keep up.

+ Shooting felt pretty perfect. Sadly no Finesse but this is easily made up for with the very overpowered low driven plus. Get her infront of goal and she’s guaranteed to score.

+ Dribbling was pure excellence. She controls the ball really well under heavy pressure. She was absolutely lethal in the box too as she simply could not be stopped or removed from the ball.

+ Defensively is absolutely solid. Having the Anticipate playstyle is exactly what Rolfo needs to level the playing field against those bigger players.

+ The passing was also decent. She can easily pick up a ball and ping it forward for the striker, making light work of the opposing defence.

Rolfo - Cop or Flop?

I felt pretty confident early on that this card would be worth it. The price is on the decrease currently but even at around 300k I would say this is absolutely worth it. I’m no trader but I would highly recommend keeping an eye on this item because once the upgrades land, this will become an easy 10/10 card that I can only imagine will be popping up in people’s squads.

I think it’s fair to say that if Rolfo gains the extra position upgrade it’ll likely be the CM position. But she already plays on that left side both offensively and defensively really well. If you have the coins, this is worth the pickup.
