Future Stars Predictions & Rumours

Here are our Predictions for who you can expect to see in Future Stars this year!

Diogo Costa - GK - 79 > 88 OVR

At 23 years of age, Costa is the oldest player in this prediction but when it comes to keepers he is by far the best option. Playing as number one for both Porto and Portugal Costa is one to keep an eye on and is expected to reach the very top of the game shortly.

Goncalo Inacio - CB - 79 > 87 OVR

Portugal are well known for bringing attacking talent through their youth ranks and it is beginning to show with their national side what they are capable of. Their defence often gets overlooked but with the likes of Dias and Dalot coming through recently it is an area they are significantly improving in. Inacio could be the next star at the back with his performances gaining interest from the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle.

Josko Gvardiol - CB - 81 > 91 OVR

Gvardiol is already a respected CB and his performances in the World Cup underline just how good he can be. Playing his club football for Leipzig in Germany a big money transfer is likely just around the corner with Chelsea and Real Madrid both reportedly interested in the signing. At 81 base rating, he is among the highest players predicted but his ceiling is most definitely higher in the future.

Pierre Kalulu - CB - 78 > 89 OVR

At 22 years of age, Kalulu is among the oldest of the players selected for this prediction but going from previous FIFA’s, 22 years of age is young enough for inclusion in these sides. Kalulu has developed into a regular at Milan and can play either centrally or on the right. Something EA likes to utilise in the Future Star promotion.

Mykhailo Mudryk - LM - 74 > 87 OVR

Chelsea are often a safe bet for these sides with the club owning a lot of youth players, albeit a significant number being out on loan. There are several options within the club for this prediction but with the recent signing of Mudryk being the current hype trend, it makes sense that the Ukrainian gets the nod.

Gavi - CM - 79 > 90 OVR

Last FIFA we saw Pedi feature in this promotion and this time around we look at his future partner in Gavi. There has been speculation surrounding his off-the-pitch life impacting his career but that will likely fade away with the Spaniard being one of the brightest young talents in the game right now.

Jamal Musiala - CAM - 81 > 92 OVR

With the option to represent either England or Germany Musiala opted for the latter which being a regular starter for Bayern Munich was always likely to be the case. Musiala is only 19 years of age and although he is already a well-respected and known player has a long way he could go, potentially becoming one of the world's best midfielders. Last FIFA the highest-rated card in this promotion was 92 and I expect similar numbers to occur this time around too.

Enzo Fernandez - CM - 78 > 91 OVR

At just 22 years of age, Fernandez can claim he played a pivotal role in a World Cup win. The Argentine set a benchmark for his performance level in Qatar, carrying over his form for Benfica to the highest level. The Argentine is seemingly happy at Benfica currently but I am sure we will see him move to a European powerhouse soon enough.

Vitinha - CM - 79 > 89 OVR

PSG is a team full of superstars with the French outlet not being afraid to splash the cash on big-name players. It is very difficult to break into this side but at just 22 years of age, it's something Vitinha has managed to do. The Portuguese midfielder is a very talented player who allows the attacking players on the side to do what they do best.

Lois Openda - ST - 75 > 90 OVR

We are already beginning to see what we can expect from this talented Belgian striker with Openda’s performances for Lens being outstanding at times. Although he has two IF’s to his name already this season the best is still yet to come from him.

Julian Alvarez - ST - 78 > 91 OVR

Alvarez has largely gone under the radar with City also signing Erling Haaland but when the Argentine has featured for City he has managed to impress, scoring a total of nine times this season. Alvarez has a bright future ahead of him whether he manages to secure a spot in the City side is still to be seen though.

Substitutes

Armel Bella Kotchap - CB - 73 > 86 OVR

Bella Kotchap might not be a name you are familiar with but the young German has a promising game and was even taken with the German World Cup squad. Playing for Southampton perhaps does not do him any justice with the squad currently struggling in the Prem but his performances for them have still been impressive.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - LW - 74 > 87 OVR

Napoli are taking Serie A by storm this season and many suggest them as dark horses for the Champions League too. The side they have built works superbly together and Kvaratskelia is at the heart of it. At a mere 74 NIF rating, the Georgian has gone under the radar until the most recent campaign.

Xavi Simons - CAM - 73 > 86 OVR

There are several talented players in the Eredivisie with the division feeding the top five leagues regularly. As a result, usually feature in these types of sides. Xavi Simons is excelling during the 2022/23 campaign scoring nine and assisting another four from his 18 Eredivisie appearances. The Dutchman can play almost anywhere, operating in six different positions during those 18 matches.

Orkun Kokcu - CM - 79 > 87 OVR

Onto another from the Eredivisie now with Kokcu. Playing his club football with Feyenoord his performances this season are among the best in the division, Kokcu is often referred to as a cheaper alternative to the likes of Enzo Fernandes. He is highly likely to be brought in the summer and although he is without an IF he is regularly in the mix for my predictions.

Harvey Elliot - CM - 73 > 87 OVR

There is always a young English talent in these sides from EA and although there is not a clear one this time around I doubt the trend will end. Harvey Elliot and Bellingham will likely be a midfield international partnership for years to come.

De Ketelaere  - ST - 78 > 86 OVR

Considering the size of Belgium as a nation they have been extremely successful as a nation in recent times. They have several promising prospects coming through their ranks too. De Ketelaere is one of them and although his goalscoring form is not currently at what was hoped for at just 21 years of age he is a regular starter for AC Milan.

Youssoufa Moukoko - ST - 69 > 87 OVR

Moukoko needs little introduction with the German youngster already breaking records related to being the youngest player. At 18 years of age, it's clear that he will be around for the next decade at the top level. He was even included in Germany’s 2022 World Cup side.
