The fan-favourite FUT Birthday has been announced as the next big promotion coming to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, and there’s a lot coming to celebrate FUT’s 14th birthday!

With everything from FUT Birthday Swaps to FUT Birthday Icons, to new 5* Skill Move & 5* Weak Foot upgrades, FUT Birthday is set to be another highlight of the FUT calendar.

What is the FUT Birthday Promo?

FUT Birthday was first released all the way back in FIFA 14, with free packs and tournaments, and has over time transitioned into one of FUT’s greatest events, with new promo cards, swaps events & tonnes of SBC content.

In FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, FUT Birthday will be a massive event, featuring 2 Teams of FUT Birthday Promo cards, FUT Birthday Swaps, and new to this year, FUT Birthday Icons!

FUT Birthday players will receive boosted Skill Moves or Weak Foot - with a 5* Skill Move George Best confirmed via the latest loading screen below, alongside a 5* Weak Foot Chelsea CF – rumoured to be João Félix!

When Will FUT Birthday be Released in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team?

FUT Birthday is confirmed to be released in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team on Friday, March 24th.

This was confirmed by a loading screen, showing the new FUT Birthday balloon-themed card design, along with the new FUT Birthday Icons design.

It’s looking like FUT Birthday will be a 2-week, 2-team event, last until April 7^th, when FUT Birthday Swaps expires.

FUT Birthday Icons Coming to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team!

From the new loading screens, we can see that FUT Birthday Icons are confirmed to be arriving in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team alongside the regular squad of promo cards.

With George Best, a Brazilian RW – likely Jairzinho & Puskas already teased in loading screens, as well as the likes of Rivaldo, Eric Cantona, Ian Rush & Lothar Matthaus across Social Media, EA are clearly going all out for FUT’s 14th birthday!

FUT Birthday Swaps Info - Rewards, Tokens & Release Date

FUT Birthday Swaps are now live in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, running until April 7th.

It has been confirmed that there will be a total of 30 rewards to be earned in-game, earned through:

• Your first login 

• Objectives such as First Owner Fiesta, Silver Stars & Campaign Objectives

• Moments Star Gallery

• Squad Building Challenges such as Puzzle SBCs & Marquee Matchups

Additionally, you’ll find some “extra bonus tokens in the FUT Store during the FUT Birthday event.”

The full list of FUT Birthday rewards will be revealed in FUT on March 27th, but you can expect the following rewards:

• 3 Tokens - FUT Birthday Team 1 Pack

• 10 Tokens - 10x85+ Pack

With FUT Birthday prepared to release a host of 5-star skill & 5-star weak foot promo cards, let’s take a look at some cards that we’d love to see released.
