It’s that time of the year again! The FIFA 23 Team of the Season event is set to commence over the coming weeks - kicking off with the Community Team of the Season, as voted for by you, the FUT Community.

When Will The Community Team of the Season Be Released?

The Community Team of the Season will be revealed later this month, and released into packs soon after.

It’s predicted that the Community TOTS will be released shortly after Trophy Titans comes to a close, around either April 21st, or April 28th if we see a TOTS Warmup event like we did in FIFA 22.

Without further ado, let’s dive into our Community Team of the Season Prediction. The FUTBIN Team has looked through hundreds of your shared votes on Twitter, and these are the common inclusions.

David De Gea - GK - 87 > 94 OVR

The GK inclusion for the Community TOTS was hotly contested between Lafont, Sommer, and the Spaniard, however, we believe David De Gea will earn his spot in the 1st TOTS squad.

A standout for Ten Hag’s Red Devils with 13 clean sheets in 29 Premier League appearances, De Gea has averaged 2.7 saves per game across the season.

Andrew Robertson - LB - 87 > 94 OVR

A popular vote it seems, potentially due to playing in the Premier League, Robertson seems to be a likely feature in the Community TOTS defence, despite having as many assists as clean sheets (6) in Liverpool’s rocky season.

Danilo - CB - 80 > 92 OVR

Despite having a base position as a RB, Danilo has impressed in a wide central defender capacity in Juventus’ back line. Danilo’s racked up 17 clean sheets along with 6 goal contributions so far in Serie A, starting 27/29 games so far.

With a boost from his 87 rated CB TOTW card likely, he has the ability to become a very popular option.

James Tavernier - RB - 78 > 91 OVR

Another year, another TOTS Tavernier card. The FUT Community seems to certainly enjoy the English links he offers, with the Rangers top goalscorer appearing in a lot of your votes, understandably given his 21-goal contributions in the league for Rangers this season.

Kim Min Jae - CB - 79 > 90 OVR

Napoli have been a force to be reckoned with in Serie A this year, currently sitting with a 16-point advantage over 2nd placed Lazio. Kim Min Jae has contributed to this dominance, and deserves his large amount of votes, as a consistent performer that’s helped Napoli keep 11 clean sheets so far in the league.

Bernardo Silva - CM - 88 > 96 OVR

Moving onto the midfield - the standout inclusion is Bernardo Silva, who despite being touted for a move away from Man City, has delivered on the pitch. With his FUT Birthday card already being 93 rated, there’s a possibility for a very high rated Bernardo TOTS card, that 99 Dribbling…

Ismael Bennacer - CM - 82 > 93 OVR

The Milan maestro Bennacer looks likely to join the Community TOTS midfield judging by your shared votes on social media. Not too many goal contributions to speak of, but a popular option, who could receive an even more boosted card due to his FUT Fantasy card that can still be upgraded to a 91.

Khephren Thuram - CM - 77 > 90 OVR

One of the most popular SBCs of FIFA 23, Thuram could cement his FIFA 23 legacy with one of the most well-rounded cards in the Community TOTS. Gullit Gang, 6’4’’ with French links, we can understand why you’ve been voting for him!

Goncalo Ramos - ST - 75 > 91 OVR

The attacking selections in the Community TOTS vote were varied, with a lot of competition for places. Goncalo Ramos features as the first of our 3 starting forwards, with 17 goals in 23 games for Benfica.

Gabriel Jesus - ST - 83 > 94 OVR

We don’t want to get your hopes up any more than they currently are, Arsenal fans, but Gabriel Jesus is a near guarantee for a Community TOTS this year. Featuring in nearly all the votes we scoured across the community, he’ll likely be leading the line in this first TOTS release.

Rodrygo - RW - 81 > 92 OVR

While Vinicius Jr & Benzema may get a lot of the plaudits in the Real Madrid front line, Rodrygo has had a solid season, picking up 5 goals and 7 assists. He looks set to accompany his Brazilian teammate Jesus in the Community TOTS attack.

Alexis Sanchez - ST - 79 > 95 OVR

With Alexis Sanchez already having a 93 rated FUT Fantasy card that can potentially be boosted to a 94, we’re interested to see if EA decide to boost him even further. Does he make your vote now after seeing that potential card?

Kingsley Coman - LM - 86 > 94 OVR

Coman appears to be a popular choice in the vote - French, 5* Skills, Bayern, it makes sense. With a 99 pace card potentially in the pipeline, are you ready to be seeing him in your TOTS Weekend League runs going forward?

Alban Lafont - GK - 80 > 92 OVR

As we discussed earlier, the GK spot was very competitive, however Lafont makes it onto the bench, narrowly beating Bayern’s Sommer. His FUT Birthday card may mean an even more boosted TOTS item, worthy of his 3.8 saves per game average in Ligue 1 this season.

Piotr Zielinski - CM - 83 > 91 OVR

Another Napoli man makes the bench of the Community TOTS squad, with Poland’s Zielinski grabbing a blue card. A very popular vote by the looks of it, and with 5* Weak Foot could be an exciting alternative option in an attacking midfield role.

Nathan Ake - CB - 78 > 90 OVR

Nathan Ake made his way into plenty of your votes for his role in Pep’s fluid Man City defence, is he a CB, is he a LB, will we ever know?

Nicolas Otamendi - CB - 81 > 90 OVR

Benfica’s dominance in the Portuguese League this season has been clear, conceding only 16 goals in 27 games, of which Otamendi has helped keep 14 clean sheets. Let’s not also forget that World Cup win part way through the season…

Jota - RW - 76 > 89 OVR

The final piece of the puzzle is Celtic’s Jota, who just slots in ahead of Sheraldo Becker. Sporting some of the best facial hair in world football today, plus 11 Goals & 10 assists for the Portuguese winger, he’s been their standout in an incredible Scottish Premiership season.
