I didn't have much hope when I first packed this card, didn't look better than what I had on the wings so I checked FutBIN to see his stats and most used chem etc. Then I seen it A SHADOW?!! Made me look at his card in a different way. He could be a great B2B midfielder and secondary holding mid if needed. Needless to say I haven't looked back since adding him in. I decided I wanted a bit more out of his passing and thought his pace was fine for what I need and POWERHOUSE was the best call I made.
First review this year, Take it easy....
- Passing
- Positioning
- Forward runs (If triggered or if left balanced on CT.)
- Shooting inside the box
- Interceptions
- Stand tackles
- Aggressive
- Hard to link (for CM) if you use other wingers
- Strength (not really noticeable, though depends on your Playstyle.)
The Manchester United Hero himself, Park Ji Sung's first iteration in the game and at the time of writing this review what an absolute steal he is for the low price of 250k! Providing chemistry to one of the rattiest leagues in fifa (Premier League) it makes building a team extremely easy! annoyingly he doesn't have a secondary position in a midfield role but with the lack of RM in the game at the moment, it is super easy to start in a 41212 and change him to a CDM or ideally a box-to-box CM in game! Now almost being Gullit Gang at game launch is truely a special feat... he may lack traits, but he makes up for it in passion. If you need someone to lock down that midfield in a kante-esque way, then look no further than Park Ji Sung!
As versatile this card is though I think it is good to mention that YES he can play multiple positions but do i recommend playing him out wide... NO dont waste this workhorse out wide, let him get stuck in and do what he does best, dictate and break up play from the defensive heart of the midfield in a DM or CM role!

Obviously being a hero, his instant 3 chem is extremely useful but with the premier league again being super dominant in the squad building realm with players like haaland and ronaldo being sort after then what better way to get them in a squad then to use a Park Ji-Sung
Positioning
Defensively - Flawless at breaking up the play, whether thats pressing on an opponent or holding his own in the middle of the park, it is good to note that he is always present! But if Park happens to venture of then not to worry, as mentioned in the title is an absolute work horse and with 95 Stamina which is another pro of his, he will retreat to his position before you even know it!
Attacking - Triggering runs from deep I have found to be extremely effective as he doesn't get tracked for whatever reason that may be. Don't be afraid to take that risk, it's worth it, trust!
Distribution
Literally pinpoint whether the ball is on his left or right, short pass, long pass, whatever you need this man has it. Which is not only satisfying but it's also refreshing because of the current state of passing in fifa, it's hard to come by a good ball player that can do more than just pass a ball
Versatility
Having the ability to play Ji-Sung in virtually any position on the field with different chem styles is as gullit-esque as a play can get!

Other than son his nation links are a bit meh I'm not gonna lie, but if he was French, he would be 1,000,000 coins+ without a doubt so really, it's a blessing in disguise
Preffered/Secondary Positions
No, he can't start centrally but that doesn't mean don't play him there. Centrally he is a warrior, don't waste him out wide
No Lengthy + 3 Star Skill Moves
its self-explanatory
After packing this man out of the hero pack, I decided it would be foolish not to use him. I have tried him at CM and upfront at ST and he is incredible in both positions.
CM:
- Never stops running, High/High and 95 stamina is very noticeable
- Very good with the ball at his feet, it's as if he has superglue on his shoes
- His passing is sometimes hit and miss; however, everyone feels that way this year
- Defensively he is very solid, I recommend a shadow if you're thinking of playing him at CM.
ST:
- With a hunter his shooting is amazing, always seems to find the target from any angle
- 4-star weak foot is perfectly fine, as I find that he sometimes hits better shots on his left
- Dribbling and passing is the same as CM
- Very quick when chasing the ball which is perfect when playing over the top
- 3-star skill moves are a small let down, however I find that skill moves aren't as effective this year
Overall, a great card wherever you are thinking of playing him (except maybe in goal) as he is very well rounded and is always on full chemistry. If you are looking for a premier league attacker, he is my number 1 recommendation, as he can play on both wings and is great for squad building.
