Many people won't miss this sbc. This type of playes such as (Ronaldo-Messi-Neymar) are always fun cards to use and the most important part that these players are unique and overpowered in game.
At first after seeing his stats i didn't expect him to be a top tier or endgame player but after
Playing 20 fut game with him i won 14 and loss 6, he was incredible. His stats not matching with his in game performance pace was great shooting and dribbling is phenomenal. Many people wants to have his card and play with him but his gold card pace and dribbling not fit the meta of the game but this one is a solution for whom wants to have cr7 in his team
Pace (amazing sprint speed)
Shooting (very nice shooting animation - finishing inside the box)
Dribbling (agile - ball control very good - always keep the ball close to his feet)
Jumping
I would say the price just because he has no league links.
Hard to link him since he does not have a league
After seeing a ton of people being unsure if they should complete him, I will follow up with a serious review on him after round about 50 games of WL and Elite Division.
Played him 50% of the time as a right Forward in a 4321 and the other 50% as a right Striker in a 41212 (2) and he was the definition of the word outstanding.
After trying many top tier attackers this year this man managed to get the highest Goal to game ratio of all of them, replacing WC Butra who was a menace.
Lets go over Pro's and Con's
-Pace: Phenomenal acceleration and sprint speed (fastest guy with Mbappe and Al Oweiran) when receiving the ball especially with his -
-Positioning: Cristiano is always on the line of the last defender, he's been offside approximately 1 out of 40 times, that's why he's so hard to defend against, because you will not catch up to him once he's past your defender
-Shooting: I'd have to put this as a Con too because he's not 100% consistent. It might have been scripted games or bad servers but in like 1 out of 7 games he misses the easiest sitters inside the box, no matter what you do. It doesn't have to be this way for you but I wanted to mention it. Compared to WC Butra who scored an average of 1-2 goals a game, Cristiano sometimes hits nothing and most of the times bangs in quadruples+
-Body Type CR7: what is there to say? unique running style, insane shooting animations, glitching through defenses, simply one of the best if not the best body type in the game.
-Dribbling: really fast skills, very small touches and still fast as a lambo
-Composure: 3 defenders attacking him? No problem, he will still finish no matter if Vieira and Lucio Dragonball-fusioned tackled him. With a stunning 98 COMPOSURE he is CLINICAL
-Linkability: obviously the biggest concern there is, how do you link him? I played him on 2 chem due to Silva, Dalot, Cancelo and Carvalho which have already been in my main team.
Nontheless he his horrific to link and if you can't comfortably get him on at least 2 chem, don't do this sbc.
-Price: 500k is a lot for an unlinkable card. If he would've been a Man United prem player 500k would be a slight touch too much, but not overpriced. As a 87 rated sbc I'd have valued him at around 400k
-Headers: even tho he has the CR7 body type he hasn't scored a single header nor won a necessary aerial duel, really bad at headers if not unusable.
Shooting: as mentioned above most of the time he is the goat but there will possibly be some games where he just doesn't hit the net
Conclusion:
If you have the fodder and the possibility to link him and would like to play him as the young man united Ronaldo go ahead and do him
If you'd have to spend more than 150-200k on him, not use 5*skills and can't link him please do not do him.
Going to say it once at the start, appreciate this is costly in terms of coins or fodder but he was perfect for a team I was looking at and I had a lot of excess cards so I went for it. Overall this was an incredible decision and he is the main reason behind me reaching Div 1. Used as a RW or ST depedning on my tactic (90% on the RW) he was by far my mst effective of the attacking three I have and an absolute game changer and for me the main reason I have finally achieved Div 1. Using an engine on the card has been for me the best choice as I think the base shooting (especially with 98 composure) is really good anyway. Ultmately, this card has devliered every time and the turn off pace to get space on the egde of the box turns all meta defenders getting many goals. It really feels like having Ronaldo back in his prime in real life, a player that can change the game alone and does every time.
- Turn of pace, he leaves defenders behind in tight situations and gives you more than ayard of pace for goals
- Strength, he is able to hold off defenders and muscle the opponent off the ball
- Passing (with an engine) he makes very incisive balls that playmake for the rest of the team
- Heading, for me I find most headers are so off target but like his regular card they are always on target and he wins every header
- Shooting, he scores an incredible amount of goals from in the box and just outside
- Long distance run, he can be caught up by the fastestb defenders if you run for 30-40 yards (even then it will be close)
- Price is a question for most but I do not regret
