LIVE TOTS UPGRADES: FIXTURES AND RESULTS

The first weekend of Live TOTS fixtures is over and we’re already very close to some potential upgrades! With the win target being two, that’s obviously impossible to hit after just one matchup, but we could see that crossed off for one player as soon as tonight!

Unfortunately no team scored 8 goals this weekend but plenty managed to reach half way and more! Some massive performances this weekend puts these cards in a great spot for upgrades, here’s the rundown of how each card is looking and their upcoming fixtures.

Luka Modric - 1 win and 3 goals under his belt after an El Clasico win, but Real Madrid did get lucky with a sceptical goal line decision and another late goal from Jude.

Bruno Fernandes - United should have been in action against Newcastle this weekend but instead were almost on the wrong end of the greatest FA Cup comeback ever. No game means no upgrades but Bruno has a favourable set of upcoming games.

Kai Havertz - King Kai scored a brace on the way to securing his first upgrade, but let’s be real, they should have finished the job last night. The Gunners eased up against Chelsea after the 5th goal went in, meaning we have to wait until Sunday to potentially see a 94 Havertz.

Leicy Santos - One of the more underrated Live TOTS cards is Leicy Santos and we couldn’t have asked for a better start. 5 goals against Betis set her well on the way for a +2.

Cristian Romero - Just like Bruno, FA Cup clashes left Spurs out of action this weekend and leave Romero with a very tough first 3 games.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek - You can’t have had many days worse than Monday if you’re an AC Milan fan. Not only did Inter overtake them in Serie A titles and earn their 2nd star, they did it against AC Milan in the ‘away’ fixture! At least RLC gets a goal towards the upgrade.

Mohamed Kudus - With Liverpool and Chelsea coming up, this first game really had to be a win for Kudus, unfortunately they were 4-0 down in 30 minutes.

Jeremy Doku - Doku was the difference maker in the FA Cup semi final this weekend but that means absolutely nothing for us. Have to wait until Thursday for any movement with his upgrade path.

Jonathan Clauss - 2 goals for Marseille mean Clauss is 25% of the way towards a +1, but they couldn’t get the job done and get the 3 points against Toulouse.

Lucas Vazquez - Can’t say much more than we did for Modric, 3 goals and a win. Solid start.

Laia Aleixandri - Manchester City women were not messing about this weekend, opening the scoring against West Ham after just 24 seconds! A further 4 goals followed and with City well in the title race, expect both upgrades to come here.

Wilfried Zaha - This Zaha card is already extremely hard to play against and with a 4 goal win this weekend both upgrades look very likely.

Raphina - We’ve seen Madrid players off to a flyer but that’s at the expense of Barcelona and Raphinha, no win but still managed 2 goals to get himself off the mark.

Allan Saint-Maximin - No matches for ASM yet but I would expect Al Ahli to hit both upgrades. A tough fixture against the unbeaten Al Hilal could throw a spanner in the works however.

Yann Aurel Bisseck - Before the upgrades or potential Evolution, Bisseck is already one of the best CBs in the game and was seen more than enough this weekend. A previously mentioned Milan Derby win takes him to 1 win and 2 goals, let’s hope Inter don’t let up after securing the league title.

Mayra Ramirez - Chelsea were in Champions League action last weekend and play the reverse leg against Barcelona this weekend. A really good looking Ramirez card, but can’t get started on the upgrades until May 1st!

John McGinn - Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are charging towards the Champions League at some pace, luckily for us this means upgrades are coming (most likely), 3 goals and a win this weekend.

Dominik Szoboszlai - A strong start for Szoboszlai with 3 goals scored in one of the tougher fixtures. Games against Everton and West Ham up next before a final matchup against Spurs.

Mikel Merino - It certainly wasn’t a great start for Merino with just one goal scored and no win. They still play both Real Madrid and Barcelona. Game 3 against Las Palmas could be very important.

Elisabeth Terland - Terland is responsible for nearly 50% of Brighton’s goals this season but couldn’t help out this weekend. Just the one goal as they fell short against Everton.

Antonee Robinson - Unfortunately for Fulham, they face 2 of the 3 title contenders in this run of fixtures and only managed 1 goal against Liverpool.

Pierro Hincapie - Imagine my shock, Leverkusen left it late AGAIN. Despite them maintaining their unbeaten streak, this means nothing (aside from 1 goal) in terms of upgrades.

Ben Sheaf - Ben Sheaf ran the show this weekend and despite missing a penalty in the shootout, played a huge part in a magical comeback. Doesn’t help in terms of his Live TOTS card though, these upgrades will start in his next match against Hull City.

Maximilian Beier - A huge start for Beier as they thumped 4 past Gladbach, leaving them needing just 1 win and 4 goals in their next 3 games.

Morgan Weaver - Another 4 goal start from Portland Thorns and Morgan Weaver. This was their first win of the season, have they hit form just at the right time?

Nicolas Otamendi - Benfica are off to a flyer with 3 goals chalked off already, but each of their next opponents are in the Top 8 which might lead to a slip up.

David Costa - It wasn’t the best performance in terms of goals, but Lens and David Costa do have a win under their belt after game 1.

Mara Alber - It doesn’t look like it’ll get much better for Alber with a loss and just 1 goal this weekend she’s far from an upgrade. Fixtures against an unbeaten Bayern Munich and 3rd placed Frankfurt don’t look good.

Rafa Mujica -  a 1-1 draw with Rio Ave may look like a poor start (and it is) but the next two fixtures could be where the upgrades happen. Just 1 win between both Estrele and Gil Vincente in the last 5, do Arouca and Mujica go 2 for 2 here?
