FIFA23 Promo News

Another promo and another unbelievable card design from EA Sports FIFA. Today were treated to a new loading screen to tease the upcoming promo - Level Up.

This is a totally new promo to FIFA so nothing is confirmed but we do have a rough idea as to what could be coming.

Level Up Release Date

As per the loading screen we’ll be seeing Level Up cards coming to FIFA 23 this Friday (7th July). We don’t know how long it’ll will run for but we presume this will be like any regular promo and run for a week per team.

Card Design

We’ve had some stunning card designs throughout FIFA 23 but this might top the lot. It’s what looks to be a retro gaming inspired design which we’re massive fans of! Let’s hope the content can be as good as the design.

What Is Level Up?

As this is a brand new promo to FIFA 23 we’re not entirely sure what it could entail but we’ve got a few predictions!

One is that this will be a very similar promo to the Numbers Up we saw in FIFA 22, but with Nike athletes instead of Adidas, as EA have very recently partnered with Nike.

The Numbers Up event boosted certain stats of players based on which boots they wore in real life, Pace, Dribbling and Passing were the stats that got boosted. It may not work in the exact same format as the boosts were given out over the year to eventually reach 99 and we just don’t have the time for that.

Another theory/predictions that we have is this could be very similar to Summer Heat back in FIFA 20 where we were able to ‘level up’ old SBC and Objective cards just by playing the game.

The Summer Heat inspired cards would come as objectives as opposed to in packs if we were to get a Nike promo event.
