EA Sports FC 24 Top 15 LW Predictions

01-Aug-23 16:08

We’re almost through our EA Sports FC ratings predictions with just two positions to go! The penultimate position is left sided attackers, let us know if there are any we missed out or who you think we got wrong!

#15 - Federico Chiesa - 84 OVR - Juventus

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

It was a very shaky season for Juventus with points being deducted and added throughout the season and it was just as bad for Chiesa.

The Italian spent the first 3 months of the season out injured and struggled with various other injuries throughout the campaign.

He still managed to pull together 10 goal contributions in 33 appearances so we’ve kept him at an 84.

#14 - Filip Kostic - 84 OVR - Juventus

FIFA 23 Rating - 85

We promise this entire list isn’t just Juventus left wingers but we do have another one coming in at 14th in Filip Kostic.

Despite Kostic being fully fit for the season he only managed 5 more goal contributions than Chiesa. Slightly understandable as Kostic played a little further back but you do expect a bit more output from wide players

We’ve opted for a downgrade of 1 dropping him to an 84 for FC 24.

#13 - Dusan Tadic - 84 OVR - Fenerbahce

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Tadic had yet another very impressive season with Ajax but had to terminate his contract with the Dutch giants after a falling out with the bosses.

Despite his numbers being very good we do have to take into account that the Eredivisie isn’t a top 5 league. This is why we’ve kept him at an 84.

After leaving Amsterdam, Dusan has linked up with Edin Dzeko and FIFA 20 legend, Ryan Kent at Fenerbahce.

#12 - Raheem Sterling - 84 OVR - Chelsea

FIFA 23 Rating - 86

Unfortunately for Raheem Sterling, the year he left Manchester City is the year that they went on to win the treble and Chelsea had a shocking season.

9 goals and 4 assists was a decent return in a poor side but ultimately everyone in that Chelsea side deserves a downgrade for last year.

#11 - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - 84 OVR - Napoli

FIFA 23 Rating - 74

Kvaradona has taken Serie A by storm in his first season and we think should be heavily upgraded.

The Georgian was part of the Napoli team who ran away with the league in 2022/23 and was one of the league's best players in his debut season.

14 goals and 17 assists is deserving of a huge upgrade and we’ve given him a massive +10 to an 84.

#10 - Leroy Sane - 85 OVR - Bayern Munich

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Sane has been impressing ever since his return to Germany and his goals helped propel Bayern to yet another league title.

The former Manchester City man scored 14 and set up another 10 across all competitions which earned him a place in the Bundesliga TOTS.

We’ve upped Leroy to an 85 which we think is deserved and hopefully will be even higher if he keeps up these performances.

#9 - Marcus Rashford - 85 OVR - Manchester United

FIFA 23 Rating - 81

The Manchester United attacker received a -4 downgrade for FIFA 23 but after an amazing season we’ve decided to erase that and give him his 85 rating back.

Manchester United won their first trophy in 5 years this season with Rashford scoring in the final on top of 30 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.

More than deserving of earning an 85 rated for FC 24.

#8 - Jack Grealish - 86 OVR - Manchester City

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Jack Grealish really came into his own this season and not just in the way of celebrating.

The former Villa man chipped in with 16 goal contributions throughout the season for the blues and even managed to grab a goal at the World Cup with limited minutes

#7 - Phil Foden - 86 OVR - Manchester City

FIFA 23 Rating - 85

The Stockport Iniesta may only be 23 years old but he’s already completed club football.

Foden has 5 Premier Leagues, 6 domestic cups to his name and finally added the elusive Champions League this season.

He scored 15 and assisted 8 in 2022/23 and we think that will result in a +1 upgrade in EA FC.

#6 - Raphael Leao - 86 OVR - AC Milan

FIFA 23 Rating - 84

Serie A attackers were going wild this season, AC Milan may have dropped off this season but Leao certainly did not.

The Portuguese winger came in with 31 goal contributions across all competitions and helped AC Milan reach the Champions League semi finals.

A +2 is more than deserved and we wouldn’t be shocked if he’s rated higher.

#5 - Kingsley Coman - 86 OVR - Bayern Munich

FIFA 23 Rating - 86

A second Bayern Munich left winger enters the list in Kingsley Coman and we’ve kept him at an 86 after a decent season.

Coman missed a few games through injury this season but still performed when he was relied upon.

Bayern obviously won the Bundesliga and the Frenchman didn’t put a foot wrong throughout the season, so 86 it is.

#4 - Heung-Min Son - 87 OVR - Tottenham Hotspur

FIFA 23 Rating - 89

We all know how good Heung-Min Son can be but he’s fallen off a little bit this season and so did Tottenham.

After back to back 20+ goal seasons Son could only muster up 10 league goals in 22/23 and it’s only fair we downgrade him.

He just hasn’t been hitting that same level as the guys we have at 88 and 89.

#3 - Vinicius Jr - 88 OVR - Real Madrid

FIFA 23 Rating - 86

It was always going to be hard to top a season where you score the winning goal in a Champions League final but Vini Jr managed that this year.

The Brazilian hit more than 20 for both goals and assists and was Real Madrid’s best player.

We think a +2 to an 88 is more than justified.

#2 - Sadio Mane - 88 OVR - Al Nassr

FIFA 23 Rating - 89

Sadio Mane, he’s the best football player in the world. Well maybe at one point but certainly not last season.

The former Liverpool man only lasted one season in Munich with a rumoured move to Talisca’s Al Nassr close to completion.

He had an average season with Bayern but nothing to shout about and certainly didn’t fill the Lewandowski sized gap up top.

#1 - Neymar Jr - 89 OVR - Paris Saint Germain

FIFA 23 Rating - 89

Another year and another top spot at left wing for Neymar and this time he doesn’t have to share.

The Brazilian unfortunately missed out on World Cup glory but came up with great numbers for PSG

He scored 18 and assisted another 17 across all competitions as PSG won yet another Ligue 1 title.
