When Is FIFA 24 Coming Out? 

FIFA 24 will be released as EA Sports FC and this release date has been confirmed for late September. 2 versions of the game will be released, the Ultimate Edition and the Standard Edition. Both are able to pre-order now with the Standard being playable from 29th September and the Ultimate Edition being playable from the 22nd September. 

Will FIFA 24 Be Released As EA Sports FC 24

Yes. We won’t be seeing FIFA 24 line the shelves this year but instead EA Sports FC 24. After 38 editions of the FIFA game series, EA Sports are set to drop the “FIFA’ title as they head into an exciting new era. The new brand identity is inspired by the triangles that have been part of EA Sports football for the last 30 years, from the isometric polygons that make up our game to the chemistry triangles that exist in Ultimate Team™ to the player indicator across every match. 

Which Consoles Will FIFA 24 Be Released On?

FIFA 24 will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch as EA Sports FC 24. As with the last FIFA instalments, we’re going to see two editions of EA Sports FC with a similar price structure at £70 and £100 for a Standard and Ultimate Edition for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. 

EA Sports Legacy Edition is something we’re also going to see for Nintendo Switch which as of 23, is still the FIFA 19 game engine but with FIFA 23 graphics. Hopefully as we enter into this exciting new era, we actually get a new version for the Switch and not a reskinned FIFA 19.

Who Will Be On The FIFA 24 Cover?

Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker is the poster boy for EA Sports for next year but won’t actually be the only one featuring on the cover. He will be the stand alone cover star for the Standard Edition but there are 31 different players who make the cover of the Ultimate Edition. FIFA 24 Ratings

The only confirmed ratings we have had so far have been for the UCL/UWCL Hero cards. There are 19 confirmed Heroes including Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany and FIFA fan favourite Ramires.

Despite still being nearly 2 months away from release date we have had a lot of new information regarding EA Sports FC 24. PlayStyles will be replacing the traits system, we’re getting even more Accelerate types, penalties are now harder to score, women are coming to Ultimate Team and much more!
