Remote control
By Futtactics, 14-05-2018

Parejo is not exactly a player I would buy during the year because of his pace, but his tots player is a lot more interesting. 70 pace is not exactly royalty, but I can manage that. He would not be the first player I look out for when I'm shopping but I got him out of the la liga tots challenge and he's untradeable, so I had no choice to try him out.

The rest of his stats look downright amazing so I was actually not unhappy packing this player, I could have done much worse. Not to mention I could really use a player like that, I like having a player like this to pass the ball deep on the counter against a high pressure team, and he looked quite good as a controlling midfielder as well.

To be honest I expected this player to perform quite well, and I always keep an eye how well new players in my team perform in the first matches. Mostly it takes a couple of matches before I can get a good idea of a players quality.

This was not the case with parejo though, it took about 1-2 (real) minutes before this player showed what he was made of. What you will notice right away of course is that his passing is flawless. I'm talking pirlo level of passing but what was more notable is what a level of control this player brings in your team. It was several times during the match I saw parejo just stealing the ball from the opposition like stealing candy from a baby. Players were just fighting to get away from him to keep the ball, pass or simply keep out of his way, because if parejo was in the vicinity they simply lost the ball.

If you though vidal or naingolan (even the if) were good at defending then parejo will bring it to the next level. Those 98 interceptions are not a lie.

He's also extemely good at retaining the ball, his body make up , size, strengh and dribbling are a golden combination for keeping the ball, and to top it all off, he will pass as a god. He will score too, he has amazing shooting stats for a center mid.

Why he is so cheap is beyond me, probably people just don't know how good this player is and/or they are put off by the pace. The pace is not really a problem for this player, like I said 70 is manageable especially if you look what type a player he is. Not to mention his acceleration is quite decent for a cm.
