The Great Dane

Before the patch, Schmeichel made some silly mistakes now and again. And after I had put all my coins into this SBC, I was a bit disappointed because this card has amazing stats and I really wanted to like him. He was good, but not worth the 350-400k I spent on him.

After the patch though, Schmeichel turned into the best goalie in the game for me. He has saved me a lot in divisions and Weekend league and I'm pretty sure I'll keep him as my main GK till the end of Fifa 18.

He is quite frankly unbelievable in 1-on-1 situations,

not only because of his super reflexes, but he really storms out of the goal.

When I checked the other reviews on here, I was really surprised when I saw

that people were writing that he isn’t fast enough or slow. He is the fastest

goalie I’ve ever seen on any Fifa.

He is superb when conceding corners, 8/10 times he is able to punch it away, far away. And even though he hasn’t got the ‘long throw’ trait, he can still throw the ball really far. Long shots are still not the best in his game, put after the patch he sure has become better in saving them. Finess shots never go in, he catches all of them, and I mean all of them.

Schmeichel is really, really good for me, and I can see why people weren't too keen on him before the patch, but please give him another try cause he has become a real monster in net.

Honestly, I have never seen a goalkeeper that is so bad. I feel scammed by EA. I was so happy as I saw that Prime Schmeichel and Prime Luis Hernandez were released. I sold everything and got them both. Luis Hernandez is great, but the player i have to review now is probably the worst 70+ player in the game. He is making a lot, and i mean a lot of mistakes. I Wish I Could Say These Other Reviewers are Wrong

Wow, what else can I add? He's terrible. Awful. Horrible.I had been using Peter Cech and had no problems. When I saw that I'd be able to use my two untradeable Scream cards along with a couple other untradeable cards (Cech included) to get 92 Schmeichel for ~350k coins I thought it was a great deal. Unfortunately it turned out to be the worst "deal" I've ever made in FUT. This guy lets in EVERYTHING....
