Not Bad, Not Great

There aren't many decent, cheap attacking midfield options in Laliga, so when I saw Asensio's stats I knew I had to try him out

He's not a bad card, but he's not played as well as I would've hoped.

Pace- Not fast, not slow. I used him with an engine and he didn't outpace anyone, but I don't really sprint with CAMs so I can't say that he isn't fast with certainty.

Shooting- This guy has 87 Long Shots. Outside the box shots were insane, and I scored a couple screamers with him. Finishing was touch and go, but he was OK inside the box.

Passing- His passing is great. With an engine he has 88 curve and 86 long passing, which was amazing for sending through balls to my strikers.

Dribbling- Ball Control and Dribbling are in the low 90s with an engine and it showed. He never lost the ball when it was at his feet.

Physical- He is kinda weak. He struggles against defenders with strength above 80, generally.

You may be wondering why I've rated him as below average (average being 2.5). The reason for this is that his positioning is absolutely abysmal. I was able to attack with him maybe 3 times per game, and I would often find him stuck back at RCM or even CDM at times. This may be because of his M/M workrates, as I prefer CAMs with high attacking workrates.

Finesse=OP

Marco Asensio, he is probably the best non OP player. He is absolutley sensationail his card doesn't show that but ingame he feels so nice. He has got enough pace for a CAM. This guy is underrated. I bought him when he was 5.2k and was really impressed with his performances. A huge fan of counter attacking with 4-3-3(2) formation , he fits perfectly into my system. His long range goals are a specialty. With artist used , this guy is your main man. His pace was a bit problematic though. Use him with Artist chemistry and he'll be a valuable asset to your team.

So i bought this card because i wanted to try him for a while, and he is one of those players that can do anything. Longshots, headers, passes, finishing, run, he can do it all. If you are looking for a cheap laliga LW look no further, because he is your man.
