Terrific, replaced 91 Matthaus

I opted to upgrade from 91 Matthaus to this card after comparing the stats, and I have to say that Modric is worth every coin. His dribbling is unbelievable, his passing range is terrific, he scores bangers and finds his way back to intercept, tackle, and generally destroy opponents attacks. He has in all 8 games played thus far received MOTM, even in 2 games where he neither scored nor assisted. He is both a box to box midfielder and the purest creator imaginable. For the coins, he is the best midfielder in the game.

Maestro in the middle

I mostly don't spend much money when it comes to midfielders (apart from my cam) or my defenders for that matter. I rather invest more money in my attackers because it are the goals that win you the game. That doesn't mean you don't need any good midfielders, if you lose the battle in midfield you wll have a hard time scoring, not to mention a hard time defending. Seriously, stop reading this and go buy him. Unreal value for how useful this guy is. I have him as the CAM in a 3-4-1-2 to feed Griezmann and Bale, but also to dribble around everyone and snipe from 30 yards out. With Hunter chemistry applied, he's the ultimate player.
