Favourite Fifa Striker

I actually decided to make this account to write this review for IF Werner.

I am very indecisive on FIFA. I am also awful with my coins (spend on packs or pointless league SBC's buy and sell players for losses all the time.)

The best striker i had used had been 2IF Wilson. His finishing was sublime- he performed best besides IF Zaha at second striker in a 4-1-2-1-2 (2) formation.

However after changing teams a few times. Trying out new formations and always ending up with a Prem team again i decided to forget that noise and try something different.

I spent hours looking at teams to make something. I always like pace and i find it easier to play in narrow formations this year (i hadn't played fifa 17 but in every fifa before that i would play some variation of a 4-3-3 with a target man. This year i need pacey forwards all around. Anyway i digress.

IF Werner is an animal. I play him RS due to his 4* wf.

I have played 25 games and he has scored 37 goals and strangely enough has recorded 42 assists. (please note that these are both in Squad Battles on WC+ and Divisions (2+1). No time for WL)

He is playing with IF Gnabry as LS with.. Kostic CAM

Kostic is meh, but he is great. IF Gnabry I used before and i love him.

But Werner is an animal. His positional awareness. His pace. Dribbling and his passing are unreal for me. His physical leaves some to be desired but as long as you don't try to out muscle the top defenders or Icons you don't have too much of an issue.

I do use a hawk on him to give him the pace, shooting and physical boosts.

Pace- He doesn't feel quite as fast as some of the super pacey strikers and wingers but he is still damn quick.

Finishing- His finishing in the box is sublime. Chip, Low driven, Finesse and Power are generally goals. Pick the right shot and you are sorted.

WF- Bundesliga strikers leave something to be desired when wanted pace and weak foot. Werner does it best.

WR- Doesn't track back unless you tell him. Will always run in behind when the chance arises.

Passing- For me his passing is possibly his best stat. the 42 assists prove this. Crossing into the box for another player if he drifts wide. Double taps work great too. Through balls to players running through. Passing in and around the box. He will miss one occasionally but his stats prove my point. His card stats lie.

Stam- Non-issue for me. He is a striker he does OK.

Long shots- I don't really use them so i cannot give the best review. He isn't in the position for me and i leave them to other players.

Dribbling- By no means awful but he isn't the best.

Defending- null and void.

Heading- I almost put this in the pro's because even as a fairly weak not massively tall player he will win 50% of his headers. 30% against the big boys but better that you would expect. But not great.

Strength- Again same as heading. He is stronger than stats suggest but don't try to out muscle the best defenders.

SuperTimo The Man

First i've tried the 82 Werner when i started to play FUT. He was a game changer then, a real OP striker. With his high attacking rate he is always there where you need him. He is the only he is never missing from my team. This 95 rated card made him a real superbeast! Real pacey, he curves the ball like Ronaldinho :) so you must have WERNER! Try it out, give him a shhot, he worths the money, thats for sure.

Timo Werner is just unfair

Like others have said, Timo Werner is a broken card. Thought he was just hype but my god, he is extremely devastating. Think of how broken Bailly, Bakayoko and Jesus are in this game, they don't even come close.
