After looking for an alternative Bundesliga LB to Alaba, I thought Wendell would be a good shout. Wrong. Honestly, there was not much difference at all compared to his normal card.

Pace

Quite good. I used him with a sentinel and still managed to make good runs down the wing, beating quick fullbacks. However, H/M work rates meant he was caught out of position lots.

Shooting

Yuck

Passing

Passing was not bad. He was able to make nice 1-2 passes consistently down the wing. Crossing was decent.

Dribbling

Felt quite agile with decent ball control at times.

Defending

Made a few good tackles when he was in position. A bit inconsistent

Physical

I felt this was one of the biggest let down to Wendell's card as he was not effective in regaining position due to his strength. Stamina was another let down as he would run up the field and i would have to manually bring him back down the pitch. Could win battles in the air from goal kicks against small wingers. However, played one game where the opponent's Messi scored a hatrick of headers, as he out jumped Wendell on all occasions.

He seemed a little faster but all in all was just a waste of 2 swap items. I Due to Wendell's quite high aggression, he likes to give the opponent a good nudge, but due to his average strength, struggle to push even weak wingers off the ball. I would not recommend doing him as you may as well stick with regular Wendell, or pay up a bit more for Alaba.

I packed Wendell through the guaranteed Bundesliga TOTS SBC and I have to say he has far exceeded my expectations. I have been using regular Alex Sandro for a very long time and was very convinced that he was the best LB in the game. Until Wendell came along! Roberto Carlos minus the shooting

This man can do it all (mostly). He is fast enough to catch a Martial on the break, and nimble enough to evade Walker and put in a dangerous cross. While his stats do look rather lackluster, I find it hard to believe that one would use all of them anyway. The main ones for me were Pace, Defending and Passing.
