Most Underrated Serie A Centerback

Hard to believe at the end of the FIFA season there are no Nkoulou reviews and he only has 11 likes. I really can't say enough good things about him--he feels like FoF Umtiti only better. Every game he consistently proves himself with timely tackles, ability to read defensive and offensive plays, and outstanding passing that kicks off counter attacks. Nkoulou doesn't feel like a clumsy CB on the ball: his movement is agile, fluid, and easy to control, allowing him to make that crucial first touch and dribble to throw off a pressing attacker and send the ball up field. His agile feel also makes tackling and tracking back very easy...he always inspires confidence. His M/M work-rates are a perfecct match for ToTS Koulibaly and they make an insane Def/Off duo. This is a card I will never sell and he's not leaving my EoE Italy squad...ever. Throw an Anchor chem on him and he goes from 84 up to 93, with just the right key stats. Nicolas is a great reflection of a modern, offensively capable CB who will contribute in many areas, not just sitting back and parking that bus.

Rapid, fluid movement on the ball via 89 balance (insane for a CB).
Great feeling of agility when tracking back & tackling.
Feels much faster than 84 pace.
94 strength & 95 aggression, yet rarely gets carded.
99 marking...even most top defenders have much lower marking.
99 jumping & 93 heading.
88 composure for an 84-rated card!
Kicks off the counter multiple times a game w/ 87 short & 84 long passing.
Easily throws off an attacker's attempt to press back the line.
M/M work-rates pair up nicely with H/H centerback.
Does NOT get lost or disappear on the pitch.

At 6ft his height is a slight disadvantage if faced up vs. a tall Target Man, but not by much!
A few more useful Traits & Specialties would have been nice...and deserved.
Generally not an offensive Aerial Threat from corners, but he has headed home a few timely goals.

Steady defender for a very good price

Replaced Barzagli for Nkoulou in my squad, and I'm very pleased with his recent results.He got the pace and pass which I was sometimes missing with Barzagli.I often use driven passes with my central defender to use a fast build up play, and Nkoulou is the best passer I used as central defender.His defensive skills are solid as well, hardly make any mistakes.

Better than Benatia

I play him with Chiellini in my team and this guy is OP. He has excellent speed and short passing for a CB. Give him an Anchor and he is god. He is always in the right position and I almost forget my SIF Benatia. I think 14k for this guy is absolutely a steal.

Absolutely good, well-rounded defenseman

Actually I was looking for a stand-by player to sub my Bonucci/Benatia-CB-Pairing.After trying him out Nkoulou has made it to the starting eleven.For I don't like bulky CB's with low technical skills like Koulibaly and Manolas — I prefer to build-up via the last lane — this wasn't an option. I also find Miranda a little dissatisyfing, in terms of heading and position...
