Cheapest Icon On The Market

Where do i begin, being a United fan and England fan i was over the moon to see Rooney get his fut birthday card however i never got the chance to do the SBC and when this card came onto the market I knew I had to have him in my squad. Originally buying him as CM I decided to try him there and in the first game i thought wow why have I wasted my coins, he felt clunky and lethargic on the ball and his overall play was sloppy in the second half i changed it. Bringing on End of an Era De Rossi i played Rooney up top with Defoe and oh my have i never looked back, He is an animal upfront terrorising defenders with every attack i am yet to play a game without him scoring. His touch is superb, his pace feels electric, his finishing is sublime and my god can he bully a defender. I paid 80k for him whilst sniping and he is totally worth the coins even paying in excess of 100-110k Id still recommend him, he has the stats of an icon and for me personally plays just like if not better than an icon.

Defending, even as a striker he still defended for the team bullying midfielders and winning the ball back high up the pitch.

Honestly i cant think of any cons for this card, hes just been amazing for me scoring with every opportunity, creating goals, finishing off moves with style, the card just oozes class. If i had to be really picky and choose something id probably say stamina but even still it isn't really a con id just like it to be higher than 86.

After EA started releasing these special classic cards I decided to play the game again, lets face it, the game is pretty much dead by now. But these new cards make the game worth playing again, if only for a little while. I sold most of my icon cards and bought these classic hero cards. This Rooney card is what his prime icon card will look like in a couple of years. He's a complete BEAST in almost every aspect of the game...

Going down memory lane

This card of wayne rooney is absolutely mental! i've done his sbc card in 24 hours so i was early enough to test him for some games in Fut champs. He is absolutely amazing! he is one of the most complete strikers (for me) this FIFA. He will finish 90% of your chances inside the box, he's strong enough to keep the faster paced full backs off of him and his passing is also very good!

Great CM

I used Rooneys base card at the start of the game and he was a great CAM/CM for me. I really liked his previous cards on previous fifas so as soon as i saw his if i bought him for 160k (xbox one). Yes i overpaid him because i was impatient. I do not regret at all, so the price he is going now is cheap as hell and now in this fifa he has finally medium-medium work rates not that stupid medium-high!...
