Player Review

Controversial but... I personally think Giroud does not deserve the title of the sexiest man in football; I believe Marchisio should usurp Giroud. Just google image search Marchisio. Stunning blue eyes pierce through your soul that can make Neymar dive from contact; Beautiful locks of golden-brown hair that contrast his chiseled chin and magnificent facial symmetry. What is not sexy about Marchisio, he is like a human kaleidoscope of infinite attractiveness, a radiator of desire, a Greek God amongst men... and also his FoF card is pretty darn brilliant.

At first I was hesitant to buy this card. The amount of great CM cards at this point of FIFA make it impossible to make up you mind, but having EOAE De Rossi forced me to make up my mind quite quickly. I played the two of them at CDM in a 4312 that included Christmas Ander Herrera and it was a nightmare. My whole midfield just attacked, leaving no-one behind to defend and I got pretty fed up with Marchisio, but being a fan of his normal gold card (which a lot of people dislike apparently) I decided to keep him in my rebuilding (this was about 4-5 games in). After a rebuild which changed my formation in a 4231, I decided to put Marchisio at CAM which UNLEASHED the Italian Stallion. Marchisio as of now currently has 10 goals and 12 assists in 17 games for my club. That is absolutely amazing to me, especially with the style of play I utilise.

Pace: Marchisio is able to turn on the JETS. There were many instances in which he was able to catch up to players like Sterling and Salah and defend. Honestly this stat does not really matter in a player with Marchisio's role, but when need be, his pace can be utilised to devastate defenses with his surprising acceleration.

Shooting: Uhhhhhhhhhh.... that is probably the reaction of all the players I've faced with this Marchisio. INSANE shooting... and I really mean that. If there is an opening, this guy does not miss. The stats really do not lie, ball don't lie. Quite a good finisher when you put him at CAM and he gets to the right places.

Passing: The ol' reliable... this card can pass like a damn heat-seeking missile. At CAM I was able to amass 12 assists due to his ability... TOTS Aguero definitely loves this card like I do since he's being fed like Americans during Thanksgiving.

Dribbling: Even during my worst times with this card one thing was for certain... this card DRIBBLES. Oh yeah baby, this card has amazing dribbling capabilities. Paired with his 4* skills and weak foot this card is hard to dispossess. Marchisio dribbles with such ease that it will lead you to the goal even when you don't mean it. As a CAM, CM or CDM this card has it all in playability and confidence.

Defending: Great well rounded defending that is reliable when it needs to be. Marchisio is able to take the ball away from several players easily, and his defensive positioning allows him to cut passing lanes very well which could lead to an attack. As a CDM, paired with his pace, this card can play like a Kante. As a CM he has the defending for easy ball-winning and passing steals. As a CAM, Marchisio TEARS defenses apart so well. A great poacher when used in an attacking position.

Physical: With 91 stamina Marchisio is able to last the entire game easily, but the main downfall about his physical is his overall physicality. Marchisio is definitely not a juggernaut of the midfield, he's more of a slippery, sneaky snake that can bite unexpectedly due to his 90 aggression (those that play Napoli's Allan know what I'm talking about). Marchisio is not very good with headers but who cares when he can assist corners better anyway.

Overall, a great player of unlimited value. Very versatile with great offensive and defensive capabilities. Definitely worth it at his price point, and a robbery if bought at a lower one. Also he's very beautiful #giroudisnolongersexy
