The Worst CM in FUT

So I've used a fair amount of central midfielders this year, with the likes of OTW Sigurdsson, IF Mooy and Moussa Dembele taking the cake for the very best. I recently completed the Russian League SBC and decided to build a team around that sweet, sweet Quincy Promes card. I threw Robben on 7 chem at ST and whacked scream depay on the left. I needed to link the Dutchies in my team to a meta combo of Lazio players that I like to feature in my defences - De Vrij, Lukaku and IF Strakosha. The player that I used to make this link... Kevin ******* Strootman.

General - Possibly the worst centre mid I have ever used on FUT - he feels sluggish, lacklustre and for some reason enjoys chasing the ball as it is passed along a straight line of 3 or 4 opposition players. He feels like he is out of position a lot and enjoys a wander. His high/high workrates and low pace mean that he is always caught on the other side of the pitch than where he needs to be, with little way to get back aside from slowly jogging in the right direction.

Pace - Arguably one of the least important stats for a CM I decided that Strootman was a valid option because I have him alongside Wijnaldum, who has a bit of a leg on him. Strootman's 67 pace genuinely feels like about 50 - even with chemistry styles.

Dribbling - This is the area where Strootman managed to impress me, despite having just 78 dribbling, he was pretty decent at rounding opponents - possibly thanks to his 85 ball control and 84 reactions. Just because he's slow doesn't mean he can't dribble.

Shooting - 74 shooting is far too generous of a rating - aside from missing two brilliant chances for me, his long shots, despite being 78, were also largely ineffective.

Defending and Physical - Strootman's defensive attributes make him seem like a viable CM option - do not pay any attention to them. He constantly failed to make easy interceptions, succeed in actually tackling opponents and was beaten off the ball by several puny weaklings.

Passing - For a CM, his passing is relatively decent. He has 86 short passing and 83 long passing which much better reflects how his passing feels in game than the less noticeable FK accuracy and curve elements of passing.

Valuable Sub

Very simply to get, but really shock me. Worth very penny you spend. Cause I managed a PL team so the chemistry dose fit, i alway use him as a sub in CAM 4-2-2-2.Ten game ten goals, and i have to mention ALL LONG SHOTS OUTSIDE THE BOX!!!

i got him in a pack and didn't feel like selling him after i got him in cdm role he started out as someone i didn't really notice and thought that i might as well sell him but before i sold him i gave him 3 last games (i usually do this i'm weird tbh) and i looked at his detailed statistics after every game and i was shocked at how much work he puts in he had some great defending great passing rates and some key pass...
