He's the best CDM I have ever used!

4-1-2-1-2 is the formation I'm using him. He is the best CDM I have used so far. I have tried Kroos, Modric, and even Pogba, but they do not serve the team as well as Kante. With Kante, I have one extra CB in the middle, and he is super good at interception and marking. So many times he saved me from opponents' quick counter attacks, because he blocks almost every single through ball from their CBs. He is not really fast but he moves quickly when defending with his 90 balance -> it's really hard to get through him. Kante is not a good header, so in the case of air ball, you don't need to force him to jump. Let's the opponents get the ball, because as soon as it is on the ground, it's yours to take.

If you use him as CM, put Backbone on him, and use Anchor if you want him to be a CDM.

He is French -> can be used with Varane (CB), Pogba (CAM), Martial (LM), Dembele (RM) and Mbappe (ST). I used Griezman instead of Pogba for CAM and it still works as well.

Interception and marking is his super natural abilities. (96 and 99 with Anchor, I've never doubted the stats on him)

Decent speed. (92 acceleration with Anchor)

Nice balance.

Quick short passer.

Half Pogba price, kinna cheap for a super CDM.

Good stamina, can stay in the match till the end, minimize the chance of getting surprised gifts from opponents' subs.

Heading: he is way too short to be a good header :))

His long passes suck. (Backbone will increase his long pass ability if you really need him to do it, I would not recommend tho)

He's weak too. (Anchor will help a bit)

Kante Best player of all time?

A couple of days ago I packed this amazing card. And yes he is as good as his card says. You can play him on every position and will Always be outstanding. I've never thought there could be such an all-rounded card as him and he 100% is the best player I've ever used. So if you have the coins to buy him, I'll definitaly recommend it.

Kante at CM

Hey guys I'm new to FUTBIN and love it! hopefully like link works so you can see my squad where i use Kante at CM. Kante is a great CDM if you would want to put him there. I run Bakayoko at CDM instead of Kante because Kante can run the field so well! his stamina which is at a 94 allows him to keep sprinting in the 70th or 80th minute of the match which can allow him to just run around guys and he can set up De Bruyne and ...

Way Better Than Bakayoko

I have no idea how people say Bakayoko is the same or even better than Kante. I had PTG Baka for 20 matches and he did absolutely nothing for me, was clumsy and awful at defending. Kante is by far the best midfielder I have used this year, and probably the best NIF/non-icon CM/CDM in this game. I would recommend using him as a CDM, which I briefly did, but I've now moved him to CM and he's still great there.
