87 - Icon
This 87 rated card reflects del piero in the time period from 1993-1995, when del piero served his first years with juventus. Del piero was already an amazing player then and if it wasn't for roberto baggio, vialli and ravanelli up front they would not have benched him so many times the first year. Do realize that roberto baggio was a ballon d'or winner and both ravanelli and vialli were top strikers. When roberto baggio got injured in the beginning of the season 1994-1995 juventus deployed del piero on a full time basis. They won that season the serie a title for the first time in 9 years. The rest is history.
Young del piero doesn't have the class in dribbling, finishing and vision like his 90 rated card but he sure is a lot quicker. This while he's still a very good finisher, passer and dribbler. 88 shooting, 84 passing and 89 dribbling isn't exactly average. He still got that 5 star weak foot as well and he has high medium workrates. He has even more stamina.
I still use him as a supporting striker though (like I did with his 90 rated card) but because of the extra speed and those workrates I can be more agressive on the counter. He's only got 62 strength so you need to keep moving with him but with his dribbling and passing stats you can easily get the ball to a teammate.
I have to be honest, while his 90 card was more fun to play with because of the pure class, this card works better for my playstyle because of the speed and workrates and he's also fun to play with. He's also good at pretty much everything. This card has so many pro's that I don't even know where to start, be sure to click the read more button...

I have used Del Piero in Fut Champs, Divisions and he has been great. Scoring 33 in 26 games is great return for me, (I'm bad). The 2 best things with DelP is his finishing and 5star weak foot as they go hand in hand. I love 5star weak footed player having used SIF Son and many more. The thing with Del Piero is although his long shots are great he doesn't really do anything a IF Gabriel Jesus (example) can't do (1/3 of the price). After 26 great games Del Piero is leaving the club along with his partner IF Mbappe. I like him alot but nothing SUPER special here. Welcome TOTY Kane :)

Over priced
Abit weak
Absolute animal.
5* WF with 4* skills can be an absolute game changer with this guy.
His finishing and long shots are scoring so many goals for my team i still cant believe it.
I play a lot of games with this guy and he never lets me down, his passing his fast turning when dribbling its all amazing.
I use a hybrid team with Florenzi 86 card on midfield for a perfect link so its easier to link him aswell in my team.
Also his stamina is 88.
Del Piero 87 Son 87
Crespo 90
Florenzi 86 Viera 86 Fernandinho 86
Roberto Carlos 86 Kolasinac 84 Walker 86 Aurier 84
De Gea 90
I strongly recommend this card instead of his prime card because of his WR and better speed.
5 * WF with 4* skills
Fast turning speed when dribbling
Good passing for an CF
Higher speed than Prime card
Long shots + curved shots excellent
High stamina
Lower attacking stats than Prime
Very good card, I packed him once out of the `Baby Icon Pack` and 300 Games and around 350 Assists/Goals later I can say: He is one of the best Cards in FIFA 18! I played him as Central CAM in 4231 and in 41212(2). His Finesse Shots are INSANE! Almost every of them are goals. And also his passing is great! With 88 Pace you can also use him on a wing, his pace feels like minimum 92. He surprises me in winning Headers. Not every Header is won by him, but surprisingly often.
My Opinion on this Card: BUY HIM!
Finesse Shots
Long Shots
Passing
Pace
Dribbling
None
He is on another level. I cannot exaggerate this, he has single-handedly won me games.
Shooting
- Long shots go in every time
- Finesse shots are bangers
- Low drivens are not even fair
Passing
- Play him at striker or cam, he can do it all
Attack Position
- He's always there for the tap-in
Dribbling
- His dribbling is extremely strong, he can weave in and out and pull off things like nut megs and putting the ball around the defender.
Aggression
- For some reason he would always win the ball back from the defenders
Headers
- Rarely wins headers
Strength
- Do not go head to head against the defenders. Its not awful and it certainly shouldn't make you not want the card
