I used Yarmolenko's 84 rated card in fut draft for the first time a few days ago. I won the draft and he scored 13 goals playing at LF (in game switch with Reus). I then proceeded to sell my Aubameyang and buy his OTW and Ribery scream card and start in a 4-3-2-1 (see link for details). In-game I switch to a 4-1-2-1-2 (2) with Lewa on the right and Yarmolenko on the left and Ribery at CAM, and in the 30 games I have played with him in Division 1 he has 71 goals and 25 assists. He can finish from 40 yards out, and from right in front of net. Don't be deterred by his 2 star weak foot. He is very good at shifting to his strong foot and almost never misses when you slap a Hunter on him. An absolute hero to me right now.

- 80 Strength ad 73 balance so he does not get taken off the ball easy
- 5 star skills and very high dribbling
- 85 stamina so he rarely gets tired
- 96 pace and 93 shooting with a Hunter card so paired with his physical and dribbling makes him basically unstoppable
- 2 star weak foot sometimes hinders him in Tiki-Taka play and fast paced passing, although rarely affects his shooting
- Bulkiness makes him lack the agility of smaller players with the same dribbling such as Messi and Aguero
I used Yarmolenko in a Bundesliga Squad as RF in 4-3-2-1 Formation. For his height he is very agile and fast enough to keep defense away as I used the Hunter style. If you use the first touch dribbling with him you get an enormous first speed boost. Once you are in the position to sweep into middle of the pit you got the ball on his strong foot. There it doesn't matter if you are in the box or out of it. He is able to score from any position with his strong foot.
With his weak foot you are not able to cross the ball in the box if you are running with the ball. You have to stop and sweep to the left foot.Also with his height you are able to score headers.
For me he works pretty well as I love to cross in from sides. Also with his skill moves you are able to keep the defense away.

I have used OTW Yarmolenko with reus and POTM Sane and as much as i love both of them i really think that Yarmolenko was the best of those three. I used him as a striker and he scored shots i dont usually score and his pace feels much higher maybe because I used him with a hunter chem style. Also i dont consider his 2 star weak foot a problem because for me he has scored so many great goals on his right (weak) foot.

His height makes him win a lot of headers and a real aerial thread.

His stamina he is still pretty good in the end of the game

He is hard to make hybrids with because of his nation but great he is in the Bundesliga
The fact that he doesnt play that well in real life so he is unlikely to get a sif
He is probably the best player in fifa 18 for this price . He scored 52 goals en gave 43 assists in only 35 games . Amazing , isn't it ? In combination with Aubameyang you wil win almost every game . give him hunter and his pace is also very nice en he will score every chance he has . unfortunately he has only 2 star weak foot but with his 5 star skill moves he can pas every defender . Yarmolenko wil probably have couple of in forms trough the season so he wil only get better and better ,and all this for less than 100 k , ridicules .

I have used Robben and Yamolenko and I must say Yarmolenko, even tho he hasn't scored or assisted as much as Robben, he would still be in my starting 11 instead of Robbin, as his height, strength is a better option than Robbens, speed, and shooting, I'm not saying Yamolenko is slow, but he is not the fastest either but compared to his height (6'2) it's actually really good and he will be able to outpace most defenders.
His High/ high work rate makes him the perfect player to use in any attacking formation as he will often fall back and help the defense, personally, i would choose him over any other RM in the game.
