Na na na na na na na na Batman?

I say

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes BATMAN!!!!

Now, if you thought THAT intro was absolute top class, wait till you read this review!!!!

I originally had Higuain up front, but after a couple of weeks of hit and miss with him, I decided to swap him out for Batshuayi, which also gave him a perfect link with my very average and overpriced Hazard.

Now, I've played 10 games on FUT Champs using Michy as a partner striker with FUT god Mertens, and I've found him to be very reliable and a great card for his price.

I'm gonna do a quick run down of his stats:

Pace: I used a hunter card on him, and his pace was decent. He wasn't flying passed opponents like my Gomez or Mertens were, but he had enough pace to counter sufficiently.

Shooting: Great stat here. He has 89 finishing, and it does show. I've scored some brilliant goals with him. I wasn't fussed on Higuain because I felt he missed far too many sitters for my liking, but, as said, Michy's finishing is very consistent. He can put some pace behind the ball too. Low driven shots just outside the box are a lot more effective than you'd think with this card too. So is his long shooting.

Also special mention to his 4 star weak foot. He scored some crackers with his left. So good, in fact, I had to check his card to make sure his strong foot WASN'T his left.

Passing: Nothing to write home about. His long passing is broken. Especially long power passing. Here, I know him as Sh1ty Batshuayi. Short passing is just fine though. He played some lovely 1-2s with Mertens.

Dribbling: His balance and agility make him an effective dribbler. I used micro dribbling and a few 3 star skill moves with him and was left satisfied!

Defending: Terrible. I put him at CB for a game to try this stat out, and he was awful! He kept moving up to the opposition box to try and score goals FFS! He couldn't read runs or intercept for the life of him! And WHATEVER YOU DO! Don't put him in goal! DO. NOT!!! put. him. in. goal! I learned my lesson after that 11-1 drubbing I received...........

Physicality: Good. Not amazing, but good! I've managed to score a few goals by holding off a defender and pulling a shot off at the same time. He holds the ball up well, and his jumping is also good.

Don't be fooled by his stamina. It IS 68, and it looks bloody awful! but because of his M/L WR, he doesn't really move around the pitch a lot. I mean, my Hazard is usually done and dusted by the 70th minute, and he has 79 stamina, but even at min.90, Batshuayi still has enough in the tank to make runs without dropping off and dying after his 3rd step!

Altogether, I really like this card. Will I stick with it? Probably not. He's a great finisher, good strength, good pace and is an able dribbler, but there will be far better PL IF strikers than this with probably the same OVR rating in the future. But for the price (Currently 45k) he's definitely worth the coin. I like him more than I do Higuain, and he cost almost double.

Michy Batshuayi is a great player in real life. But in game? Awesome.

This guy is a goal machine, and you most buy him. I will explain why.

I was alongside the bunch of lucky mofos to pack a toty in those 2 player upgrade packs and that was De Bruyne. Instantly i thought of Mertens but who also to pair with them ? Tried Lukaku , way to sluggish for a noob like me so i moved over to Michy. I am playing him at RS in a 4-3-1-2 , because like i said earlier , i am a kind of a noob and i use finesse shots most of the times , instead of low-drivens, I know i read somewhere about Michy that he was good but people steered away from him because he has low stamina , but decided not to give a single solitary fock so i thought why not ? I am writing this because i am very pleased with what he has to offer. This trio of him , Mertens and toty KDB is working charms for me and he is THE STAR of the trio.

I play 41212 narrow, i needed a left side striker to pair up with lukaku, i tried all premier league popular ones, at the end i got normal Bat, i used him 5 times and i realized he was perfect for my team, which is focused on crosses. I got inmediatly after the IF version, and i will say that is AMAZING.

I think he plays exactly as lukaku, and costs more than 3 times less!

THese two are exceptional together. strenght, nice pace, finishing, heading, good weak foot, Bat is amazing.
