Icardi is absolutely fantastic, you need another striker to pair him though. Thats why I have Mertens alongside. He scores every game even when you don´t dominate the game just give the ball to Icardi and tap the shoot button - goal. his headers are absolutely fantastic, he wins every aerial duel after a long goal kick from the keeper and scores a lot from corners and free kicks. he is not that agile and has only got 3* skills so don´t hold the ball for too long with him, just do the L1/LB Pass, send him with a through ball and he will finish it. His Pace isn´t too bad he can run through the defence if necessary so he´s literally got it all.

Icardi is good for one thing, FINISHING. Get him inside the box and press shoot and he will score 9 times out of 10. I've even scored goal where i'm facing away from goal and he just turns and bangs it in. He can also be a threat from crosses with his 98 jumping and 93 heading accuracy, however against the tallest of center backs he still loses out in the air. His pace is ok but i would advise using a chem style to boost it. I used hi with engine to boost his pace, passing, and dribbling because his shooting is insane already (although his long shots are questionable). His dribbling is acceptable but don't expect mazy dribbles from him especially with only 3 star skills. His short passing is great for quick 1 2s but don't try any big over the top through balls because he will mess them up. His physicality is alright but his stamina can be a problem towards the end of the game. But if you're through on goal in the 92nd minute and you need to score to win, Icardi is your man to finish the chance and win the game.

All you have to do is shoot. I have used him with fast players around him so his pace is unnecessary even though you can still run with him if you want. Also he can play very good through ball to the CAM or wingers. He can shoot from what I guess 10-20 yards outside the box and still hit the upper 90. I prefer to do a driven shot put you can finesse if you want. You need to put faster players around him. If you can drop another 125k XBOX 163 PS then you should definitely get Dybala, but Gomez is fine.

Easily one of the best strikers i have used this year. He is a must have in any Calcio A team or Argentine team. He is amazing on the ball beating players and clinical in most positions in the box. I used him in a 433 (4) with a majority of the time with IF Insigne and Di Maria next to him and Dybala at CAM, in 8 games he scored 11 goals and still counting. I used him with a basic chem style on him and would probably recommend a Hawk style on him. Only issue with him is that despite him being clinical the first few games he scored barely any goals in comparison to the number of shots he had, but soon turned this around. Due to his work rates sometimes i found him drfiting of into midfield but yet was still able to pass to someone else and create a goal scoring opportunity.

I used the normal, 84-rated card of Mauro Icardi in a squad with Icardi, Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala as strikers and Icardi was amazing! He scored at least one time in every game. So I decided to buy the IF-version, 87-rated. This is one of the overpowered players I ever played with. Not Dybala or Higuain are topscorers but Icardi is! His shooting is awesome with 94 finishing and positioning! His pace is okay!
