84 - SIF
Have been using various LBs in a Hybrid and PL side and settled for IF Young who was playing LB behind Overmars and Azpi as CB. IF Young was good defender, but what really made him shine was his forward momentum and his great crossing abilities. He did lack a bit of pace and strength.
Enter SIF Young!
What a massive improvement. After 10 odd games online, I can say that he is by far the best LB I have used. His Pace is great and allows overlap and getting back in time. e has enough strenght now to bully strikers of the ball and his passing is CAM like. Never out of position probably due to his pace and his dribbling make him a great midflielder when his goes up with Overmas who I play as LM in a 4231.
Whos he better than you wonder? I used the following LB's in the past:
Alaba with Vidal and Boateng: Great card but does not come back in time.
Mendy with Luiz and Kante: Better than stats suggest but pace an issue if you want some offence
Sandro with Matuidi and Luiz: Great card. Best I used until now but I dont use a Serie A team and Matuidi was no use to me.
IF Fabra: To hard to link and defensivly a failure
IF Young: Alaba and Sandro were better but I did the SBC and like the grren links to Baily and IF Fellaini
SIF Young is defiantly better than all these cards. Not going to try Roberto Carlos as I want to get Viera and ADP first.
Pace is faster than suggested
Crossing and long passes
Dribbling. Holds ball very tight
Defends like a pitbull
Last all game. Great Stamina.
Could be a bit stronger, but so far not an issue.
Ashley young is decent player. He is the fastest LB option in the premier league, but not the best option. I used young for two weekend leagues and he held his own. My biggest issue with him was that he is attack minded. He is a natural winger, so it felt weird doing a ton of defending with him. I liked him, but as soon as I switched to Danny Rose I felt much more secure in that side of the pitch. At the time of this review he costs around 90k which is wayyyy too much for the value. Go for IF Zeegelaar or Danny Rose instead.
- He's pacey, but doesn't feel OP fast
- Going forward - he gets up and down the wing with ease and whips in great crosses.
- Stamina. He can last a whole game without getting too tired.
- Passing - Is passing is very good and doesn't misplace many
- Shooting - his shooting is actually pretty good in certain areas.
- Defending - not really a con or a pro, he is just mediocre at defending.
- Strength - this was probably the biggest con. He is very weak and gets shoved off by stronger attackers like he isn't there.
- He is an attacking player.
Pace: 85 (With an Anchor 92) He is absolutely rapid. With the combination of his pace, hight and dribbling
Young can catch up to any winger, or even bomb down the wing and whip a cross in the box.
Shooting: 80 This is unreal for a LB. He has scored me many longshots from runs down the wing and they have been gamechangers.
For me he has scored 8 golas in 20 games, witch is imaginary.
Passing: 85 This is a great stat for a LB, ot only can he ping it down to my strikers, but he can also whip a cross into the box
with his 92 crossing and 94 curve he can definitely pass.
Dribbling: 87 Young has incredible Dribbling and can skim past players with ease. But i do feel that his composure is too low, even if he is a full back.
Defending: 80 (With an Anchor 88) I feel like he is always in the right postion at the right time. Young's Interceptions and standing tackles are perfect.
Physicality: 81 It always feels like he can outstrength every winger in the game. I don't have a problem with his strength.
Although some Strikers e.g Lukaku, Arnautovic, are a bit too strong for him

BPL has always missed a great LB, but that time is over! Young is everything one can need in an LB, from his bliztering pace to his great defending and ball control. He will have your back in any situation. I use my LB & RB a lot for attacking down the wing and that often leave me exposed when they can't track back in time, but with Young that problem is gone. He is always in the right position at the right time. The only downfall if there is any is his strength witch is pretty low, but i haven't noticed it yet as a problem and iv played him in weekend league and seasons. If you are looking for a cheap beast (yes i said cheap at 50k) this guy is definitively worth the coins.

Strength? but not really
I played with him for a few months now and was worth every penny (bought at 65K). Would even buy him right now at 90K since he is one of the best all rounders IG for me. Only issue I sometimes had was crossing with his left foot since his right is his strong foot. For me that is rarely an issue since I rarely cross with my LB.
-Fast
-Amazing dribbling
-Allround amazing
-Defensive all you need for a LB
-Most likely winter upgrade
-right foot as a LB
