After using Ander Herrera for 8 games in Division 1 I can tell he is a complete midfielder that I’ve been looking for alongside petit and pogba. For the 100k that he cost me he is a bar again because if he was to ever get an inform it would be well over 150k when people start talking about him. His defending is a strongpoint on his card he’s able to cleanly win the ball back and attack with his creative ability which I just love about the card. His pace doesn’t feel slow at all when using anchor on him and with high aggression he tends to feel quite strong when holding and fighting for the ball. He’s easy to fit into a team and I believe he’s a must in a premier league side.

Now Ander Herrera is a card I've used on and off in FUT, both in FUT Champs and in Seasons (Div. 1-2). He's very good, and definitely recommend using him in any team under 300K as a midfielder. But the thing is, there are better cards than normal 84 Herrera like Bakayoko, Kante, Busquets, Scream Khedira, etc. Given his +2 upgrade on this birthday card leaves me with no choice but to recommend him, here's why...

Ander Herrera is a brilliant box-to-box midfielder who will back track and play that defensive role, then bomb up the pitch next to the young french forward and continue your attack. His card boasts 89 interceptions and 81 standing tackling, meaning he's cutting off those passing lanes and moving around pressuring your opponent. Not only that but he has 89 aggression, jumping into his tackles and either winning the ball, or fouling your opponent, meaning he's stopping the attack right then and there, ball or not. His passing is brilliant, 90 short passing with 88 vision means he's never missing his mark and giving Bakayoko that ball for him to clinically finish. Not only that but Herrera is amazing on the ball. He has a close control and can easily start an attack and move himself up the field. My previous midfielder in that position was 84 rated Tolisso, one of my favorite central midfielders. What he lacked was quality dribbling and Herrera instantly provided that and impressed me, I'm not afraid to feed him the ball which is what I love so much about him. Some other positives are his 90 stamina, and even 72 strength, which I upgraded with a chemistry style because I needed him to have that pushing ability since he was aggressive, which I recommend. His pace is average, pretty good but not great. And last but not least his shooting, which is just eh, nothing special and cannot be relied on to score that much needed goal. He's most likely assisting not scoring.

I genuinely recommend using this card, my team is worth well over 3 million and he slots in there and goes toe-to-toe with the best. Only 600K+ players can top him and he only goes for around 150K if I'm not mistaken. Even at 200K he's worth it.

When I bought him, I thought he would be a nice sub for me but as I saw him playing for me I was like, damn is this Vieira or Herrera?

I was really surprised and impressed of him and now he´s one of my favourite CMs in FIFA 18 and I wouldn´t replace him atm.

His interceptions felt at least like 92-94 he get nearly every ball and tackles like a god! His passing was also really good and his dribbling.

His shot wasn´t bad either but also wasn´t very good. What I loved the most on Herrera is his Defending and his passing what feels like from a 90+ player!

And he was really cheap for me (around 7k) and his value for money is just perfect. He should cost around 100k at least I think!
