Replaced Barzagli for Nkoulou in my squad, and I'm very pleased with his recent results.
He got the pace and pass which I was sometimes missing with Barzagli.
I often use driven passes with my central defender to use a fast build up play, and Nkoulou is the best passer I used as central defender.
His defensive skills are solid as well, hardly make any mistakes.

I play him with Chiellini in my team and this guy is OP. He has excellent speed and short passing for a CB. Give him an Anchor and he is god. He is always in the right position and I almost forget my SIF Benatia. I think 14k for this guy is absolutely a steal.

This card surprised me when it came out, but given a lot of people opened TOTW packs it was inevitable his price would plummet. But this, for the average FUT player like myself, played into our hands. On face value this card has decent stats, namely 76 Pace, 74 Dribbling and 84 Defending. When I applied an Anchor Chem Style to him, he felt very solid in-game. His pace is reasonable and better than most other CBs, his dribbling and passing is above average compared to CBs such as Manolas or Benatia, and his defending and physical, when boosted, make him a true force to be reckoned with. He is overall an absolute steal at a mere 13K or so, and even as a super sub to freshen the defence as the game dies out I recommend Nkoulou. Very enjoyable player!

Actually I was looking for a stand-by player to sub my Bonucci/Benatia-CB-Pairing.
After trying him out Nkoulou has made it to the starting eleven.
For I don't like bulky CB's with low technical skills like Koulibaly and Manolas — I prefer to build-up via the last lane — this wasn't an option.
I also find Miranda a little dissatisyfing, in terms of heading and positional play.
So, I decided to give this man from Cameroon a chance and he does a very good job at all.
I put a *Backbone chem style* on him, which increases his defending, his physical stats and thereformore his passing in a very effective way.
**Pace (76)** - Absolutely fine. He's not as fast as Manolas, but it get's close.
Feels a little bit faster than 76. Maybe due to his good agility and balance stats (4/5)
**Dribbling (74)** - You don't do Rainbow Flicks with centre backs, do you?
Nevertheless, his Ball Control is fine (nearly in the 80s) and he is able to to quick turns with the ball. For a CB this is more than you can effort (3/5)
**Shooting (50)** - Although he scored by feet after corners, (his positioning stat is ok, 61) I try to avoid shooting with CB's. (2/5)
**Passing (71) [*77 w/ Backbone*]** - For a centre back his passing is just great. He never really makes weak or bad passes, as long as you don't force it.
He rarely fails at passing over middle distances and gives you grat options to build-up.
Remeber, I put that Backbone on him, which increases his short passing to 91 and long passing to 83. (4,5/5)
**Physical (81) [*87 w/ Backbone*] ** - His heading is phenomenal. He scored a few times after corners yet he has no power header trait it feels like he has one.
95 jumping stat makes him a weapon. In defensive duels he is an absolutely dogged, robust sort of player, who won't get pushed over that easily. (4/5)
**Defending (84) [*92 w/ Backbone*]** - The Chem Style pushes him to good values in all stats regarding defending.
Tackling stats are in the mid-90s and it really feels like this. I'm not the type of player who uses sliding tackling often. I just try to anticipate and get in between.
His m/m workrates and his high marking stat (96) seem to make a handsome couple. He never feels out of position.
Pairing the elegance of high balance (84) and good agility (72) he is able to keep the ball, after he has conquered it. (4,5/5)
**Overall Rating (4,5/5)** - One of my favourite defenders this FIFA.
I highly recommend to try him out.
