Extremely underrated

I packed him untradeable on the 1st day of fifa in a 2 player pack and he has never left my team! i play fifa almost every day and i never see him much online, its always bailly or boateng i see however i have used toby alongside most top centre backs this year and the only one who comes close is ramos. i am aware most people would look at medium/medium and the fact he's more expensive than bailly/ van dijk ect. but you really need to try him out. his tackling is the best ive ever used in fifa history. the new charged tackle is a perfect tool with toby, he has around 91 standing tackle and you can tell, he can easily nick the ball of any skillfull opponent and leave them raging or wondering what on earth happened. he is so clutch and crucial for my team, that i can easily notice the lack of my centre back wall whenever he gets sent off. a few minor drawbacks are his dirty habits, in the 312 games hes played he has 16 red cards and 65 yellows. way less than any other defender in my team, so if your a typically dirty fifa player; be warned. i currently use him in a back 4 with varane next to him courtois behind him and danny rose to his left, i concede very few and he helps me win a lot of games. 66 pace is a lie, he feels much more speedy than that, and he feels so tanky that he will grab anyone and pull them back into their place (his pocket) if they try and outpace him. i play fut champs mainly but on my online seasons i have conceded 0.7 goals per game which is a lot less than all of my friends, who dont use toby.

Toby the Tough Man

Toby Alderweireld is probably one of the best CB's I have used in this game. He is like a wall when it comes to people trying to shoot at him. Almost always when he gets in the way, he will win the ball and block every shot. Despite being 6'1", he seems to tower over players and is a great header guy on corners. He also has a very strong kick for clearances or very long range free kicks. Only things of concern could be that he has a hard time catching up if he gets beaten by and he does move up off the back line a bit sometimes (probably due to medium D workrate). In terms of price, I think he is well worth is price considering other guys like Azpilicueta and David Luiz are more expensive than him. Overall, Alderweireld is a top notch CB in this game and will have an imposing precense in any back 4.
