Have always opted for Ross Barkley for the last two FIFAs because he is just insane. At his best, he will make around 50-60 passes a game, depending on your play style, and will usually have a success rate of over 95%. His long shots (25-35 yards) will almost always find the top corners, and his 5* WF just makes him even more reliable. He has decent strength and dribbling so can make light work of most defenders. I always use him as a CAM in a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-1-2-1-2(2) formation, as he works best here. If you can't use him straight away, try and get used to him, its worth it. I played him behind Lacazette and Firmino.
Long shots (has the long shot trait)
Pace (good enough to outrun a lot of defenders)
Dribbling (good enough to beat a full defence if you have the skill)
Passing (almost always reaches the intended player)
Physical (Stamina, strength all good)
Tackling/interceptions (if he has to, he will sometimes make an interception or a tackle and will more often than not win the ball due to his strength and pace)
Free kicks (I can't score FK's this year so I wouldn't pay much attention to this)
Sometimes his stats aren't quite high enough so he won't be able to do EVERYTHING but he can do most things i promise.
