The only reason I got to try IF Muriel was because I packed him in my monthly rewards, and actually used him as a super sub at start... But boy oh boy did i miss out! After using him and playing really well with him as a super sub I played Muriel besides Suarez in a 4-1-4-1-2(2) formation with prime Rui Costa at CAM. He's amazing to do 1-2's with and can outpace some of the fastest defenders. Furthermore, his strength is outstanding and combined with 82 balance he is nearly impossible to push of the ball. As first I was worried that he would have gotten outshined by Suarez, but he proved me wrong. You can combine Muriel with any striker in the game and he will do well. Although his composure isn't that high I did not have any complications with it, and he finishes nearly anything inside the box because of his high shot power. However, I did not try out his long shots as much as the closeup finishes, but he did score one banger from 35 yards out. As you can see on his card his dribbling stats are amazing. Nothing to complain about there, he dribbles close to his body and can dribble in narrow spaces. The only downside about Muriel is his passing, but I did not really suffer from bad passes, because i just used him t do fast 1-2's with Suarez. I would not recommend using him to do long passes and crosses. His 4 star combo is also nothing to complain about. All in all, I would say that IF Muriel is worth the money, and he is one of the best strikers in the game. Go buy him!

So i tried this guy because la liga strikers are not the best. and the good ones are pricey. ive tried his regular gold card and i was impressed. with this inform im blown away. his performance was amazing. he very quick and can easily weave through defender. and when hes infront of the goal he can finish anything into the back of the net. His 88 strength feels weird on a striker with this much pace and dribbling.

but if you want to get a good performance out of him you may need to put him in a lone striker position.

I initially used Muriel in a 4-1-2-1-2 (2) as a starter, he wasn't too bad, but found that he didn't resemble the stats that he has. Although he would score and assist from time to time he wasn't having a huge impact on the team. BUT after switching him out and putting him on the bench he turns into a bit of a freak when he's subbed on. I found him getting into position, outpacing numerous defenders and scoring clinical goals. Muriel scored the same if not more for me coming off the bench. His low driven's are insane and when he is up against defenders who's stamina is running out he can even out-muscle a few. Also he played a lot better after applying the Hawk chem style to him.

I used IF Muriel in a team paired with IF Bakambu at strikers, I played about 10 games and was not impressed nor did I think he was bad. When I saw 90 pace and 88 strength paired with 87 finishing and 92 dribbling I thought he was going to be an absolute monster. He scored 2 goals in the 10 games with Bakambu and Asensio doing most of the offensive work.
