Great player - is he worth the expense?

I upgraded to the MoM Robben for 270k after a lot of success with the 88 standard Robben. He's quick, has a wicked long shot on him, can dribble and is basically a menace. The standard card runs out of stamina too easily though. You get an 89 for an extra 230k. Thats the issue with this MoM card.

Playing wise, he feels stronger, quicker and his long shots are deadly. The issue with Robben though is that it's predictable what you are going to do with him. His weak foot is so erratic you'll be loathed to use it in most situations. So it's run down the right, try and cut in and shoot or maybe a inswinging cross (which are deadly with the right runners). I've heard of players playing him in the CAM role. I'm not sure he has the strength to thrive inside, but when he's in front of goal, he's going to trouble the keeper. Whether it's 10 or 30 yards out. If you have the money hes; absolutely worth a punt. And when he's on form he is unstoppable and lots of fun to play with. Just make sure you have a decent backup for him..
