bought the first in form of Asenjo cuz Oblak was so dissapointing.
the first IF Asenjo was good but not incerdible, but his second IF wow what a great player.
He moves like spiderman in the goal and makes inredible saves.
He can be a true matchwinner, i gave him CAT chemistry and that makes him even greater than before.

-Strong with corners
-Height
-Positioning
-punches the ball instead of catching, of always to a player of his own team.
I've been looking for a decent GK for a LaLiga team. ter Stegen [85] was an obvious choice and won over Navas [85]. He didn't disappoint me, but after a while I felt there must have been a better player. ter Stegen [87] came up and I gave him a shot. Hmmm....that was so disappointing that I sold him right away and hired Sergio Asenjo [86]. His stats were promising, but I wasn't overexcited.
So, I applied CAT chemistry onto him and after 34 games I can recommend him in 100%. This is what I call a well balanced player. Maybe his stats are not amazing, but in each game he's kept proving his value. Last but not least, he hasn't made a single blunder so far. You know how these things can piss you off... What if he gets yet another upgrade? Scary...
I've not tried every single GK in LaLiga, but Asenjo has set the bar really high.

- Could try to catch the ball more often
With the stats his card shows you think he will be like a cheap De Gea, but instead it's all a lie. Not consistent and tends to be clumsy. He can be amazing sometimes but thats because of his reflexes and diving. Though this GK is one of the few that lets me down in tough matches where you expect him to be clutch like Fahrmann or De Gea even Begovic but no.
Reflexes- He is quick to react to shots inside the area. (Normal shots though, not driven)
Diving- It's pretty good inside the area not outside.
Handling- Only catches weak shots but blocks them to a safe area
Speed- Quick of his line and has the "Rushes out of goal" trait.
Position- It's good, thats why he is able to stop shots inside
Low driven shots- He won't dive properly for the shots, won't use his feet or anything.
Long Shots- Any long shot with decent power from outside the box will just go in. Mainly because of his height
Corners- He won't come up for corners and if one person heads the ball he won't get it.
Kicking- No long throw and decent long passes
Height- Only 6"2 though he seems so much shorter in game.
This review is simple, Asenjo is garbage in game. I've used a good chunk of GKs over the course of this FUT and he is by far one of the worst I have played with. First of all, in one on one situations he cannot save anything. I brought him one on one against a player using Mbappe and i pulled him out, and instead of diving for the ball like a normal keeper would in this situation, he just stood there in his squat and the opposing player just tapped shoot and it went straight through his legs. Second of all, he's not the tallest keeper, and you can 100% tell. He will let through every single long shot directed at him, no matter what. I'm not sure there are any good things about him besides his distribution. Not worth the 80K you'll shell out.

The Card stats are really, really, REALLY so far away from this SIF GK in game. It's just completely nonsense. He's worst than a lot of 82 rating GKs.
Just spare your coins and don't buy him, unless you need him for SBC.
He can't win 1x1 situations. He is supposed to be tall, but in game he seems to be one of the Seven Dwarfs thinking about Snow White, while ongoing a FOOTBALL match.
Simply bizarre.
